DAICHI'S POV

It was now in the middle of the night and yet, the office of the President still on fire . The Head of Security Director Daichi Isagawa is currently standing in the middle of this spacious room and bowing lower than ever before in front of the President .

He was in the core of his meeting with the Security Team when the President's secretary knocks on his office . The President has been shouting around again and he was summoned for important matters .

Now, Shun's gazes were burning . He was like throwing knives toward him . He made huge negligence this time and when Shun is quieter over his anger, the mistake is incomparably serious than him shouting around .

Daichi clenches both of his fists . In all things, above everything, it was Cassie who was involved . Whatever Shun decided as his punishment, he is prepared to accept it . It is about Cassie's security and privacy what is on the line .

Although Shun was very careful in everything, the media will crawl their way to get news to spread about him . They will always gamble time to dig a hole of his privacy to gossip publicly .

And somewhat, he is very careless as they were on the island and away from the mainland . Daichi sighed coarsely .

From now on, they have to control the visitors who entered the island . They have to get important information about the guests who will plan to have their vacation . This is what Daichi thought of the best idea to do from now .

"How did it happen? You've forgotten to secure the beach area when you are knowledgeable that it was the most crucial part of all . " Shun trying to calm his tone, only means of his true anger .

"I will take full responsibility for the carelessness of my decisions on my duty," Daichi stayed lowering his head .

"You've never made a mistake before . "

Hearing this from Shun's mouth, he clenches his fists even harder . Mistake? He has the biggest mistake and bad decision he made in the past and it becomes his nightmares . Daichi closed his eyes due to his anger in himself .

"I am more angry at myself, than you are, boss . "

Shun never leave his gazes at him . He truly weighing the things if what best action he must do . Of all people, Shun knew of how careful Daichi is on securing once his area of responsibility .

"I don't want this will ever happen again . "

"You don't need to say it, boss . I cannot forgive myself for my negligence one more . "

Shun made a long stare at him before he speaks again . "I received the report that your assistant director runaway?"

"Yes, boss . "

"Have you already found a replacement?"

"Yes, I did . "

"Alright . That's all for now . I know I don't need to lecture you furthermore . You can leave now . "

That's the truth . No one ever knows more than himself . He left the office and went to his suite . He was fired up to do exercises and there's only one thing that could calm him . He changed his suit into loose pants and a black sleeveless shirt .

It was late at night already but he has the mood to throw some punches tonight . Daichi entered the gym located on the same floor of their suite and began venting his anger on the punching bag . He still not satisfied and he does a kickboxing shadow fights .

SHUN'S POV

Left alone, he can't contemplate out of the situation . Shun rose from his chair and watch the city lights from the highest floor of this hotel .

He was tempted to call Cassandra but it was in the middle of the night and he has no excuse why he made a call .

Regardless of how he pulls an all-nighter for a whole week, still not enough to finish all the documents that needed attention . He already moves the date of the Groundbreaking Ceremony because he can't take a long absence in the hotel on its current situation .

Moreover, he can't leave the hotel while his uncle Martin was in the country . Vice President Lee takes care of the issues in Singapore and Kier is acting strange lately .

Also, he can't keep Rudolf to stay because he knew that this is the best opportunity to do what they had planned already . It may look childish, but he doesn't care . All he could do yet is to wait for Meisha to come back and give his other work to handle them for him to able to go back in the island .

Shun glance at his office door when someone knocks on that .

"Brother?" Blaire peeps in the door . She examines her brother's physique after she gets close to him . He looks losing some weight . He surely did not get some sleep . She sighed .

"Why you still here? You should take a rest now . "

"I am the one who suppose to say that, my dear brother . "

Shun tap softly her head then he stroke her hair . Claire leans her head on his shoulder . They settled their gazes on the buildings glowing around in this city .

"Do you want some coffee?" she asked him after a long moment . "I'll make you a mug of it before I go back to my suite .

"Okay," he agreed .

Blaire walks to the left side of this office and pushes a door . On a plain sight, it was just a walling blended in the unique design of the office walls .

It was a storeroom and stored with basic drinks like bottled water, juice in can, sodas, beers and some wine . The room also has its own coffee maker, oven and cupboards full of light food like nuts, chocolates, and chips .

Well, what she knew is, Daichi mostly who will eat them . There's more, is a short distance hallway where the toilet room located in the corner .

Blaire gets out of the room and she saw Shun now seated in the long sofa and reading some documents . She can't help not praying that hopefully his brother gets married soon so that someone would take care of him . . .

She places the black coffee then went back into the room to get a blanket for Shun to wrapped himself .

Shun thanked her . Blaire planted a good night kiss to his left cheek before she left him alone .

7:30 A . M .

He was awakened by his phone's message tone . He reaches his head and massages it before he combs his hair with his fingers . He picks up his phone and checks the messages . His eyes widened after seeing the content of the MMS he receives .

His lips tear with a smile .
