Chapter 9

CASSIE'S POV

Cassie quickly hit the brake after hearing of someone calling out her name . She looks around and found an angry guy walking towards her .

She was stun . She stared at the guy who now standing in front of her . . . his face turn red in anger . Sweat dripping from his forehead and his white T-shirt is now wet from sweat .

"Cassandra Marivella Chen Young!" he repeated shouting her full name .

She doesn't know whether to be intimidated or laugh . . . Not in a funny way, but she's amused and entertained staring at his sweating anger face .

"Is this why you refused to be pick up!?" he restrained his voice not to yell again . But the tone of it is full of authority .

She can't help but stay quiet and just staring at him . Her mouth just partly open . She can't find the words to defend herself . Why she's always been speechless in front of this guy? She pressed her lips and look down the ground . . . waiting for a lecture .

"Do you know how dangerous that was!?" he began .

She looks up and gathers the courage to answer, "I've been doing it often so I know what I am doing . " she answered almost like whispering .

"And? Even so, how if there's someone or animals below when you suddenly jump off from the ridge!? Do you have an idea might what will happen to you?"

"I--," there's no excuse she can find . She knows her master is right .

Honestly, she has already been in many accidents during her first try of jumping and flipping from the ridge . But now, she's complete could pull it and manages a safe landing .

Now the chance of her to make him agree is thin . . . Cassie just remembered, she's planning to ask Shun's permission to continue traveling her school by bike . But he caught her doing that stunt .

RIP to me . . . . .

SHUN'S POV

He was sitting on the sofa, reading reports in his Tab when Daichi and Jing came back .

"So what is it?" he asked Daichi who take a seat in the couch across him .

"Ah, like how you predicted boss, she refused to be picking up . . . even to sent her lunch, she doesn't agree . " Daichi reported .

Shun stay quiet and in deep thoughts . "Okay," he said after a long moment .

Daichi scratched his head and shook it . He just knows if there's something bothering on his boss but sometimes, he really chooses to share nothing .

"What you're sulking about?" Shun asked him .

"Just say it if something on your mind," Daichi replied .

"Nah . . . it's nothing . Am just thinking, it's apparent she'll refuse right away . " Shun stated without glancing at the man in front of him .

"Alright, let's go and eat . " Shun invited him before he gets up from the sofa and leads towards the kitchen .

"It's rare you are cooking boss, so I will savor every spoon of the food!" Daichi exclaimed .

"Hah, you'll wash the dishes afterward," Shun commanded .

"Yes, boss!" Daichi answered full of enthusiasm .

"What you two are talking about? What's my worth I was hired full timed if I only do a few chores?" Auntie Ling complained who heard their conversations . She is busy preparing the food in the table when they entered the kitchen .

Daichi laughed loudly while Shun just smiles a little . . . but when Daichi saw Rudolf and realize what he's doing, he immediately jumps on him and scolded . Rudolf secretly eating in the sink and Daichi complaining of how he eats first without waiting for them .

Auntie Ling just shook her head while smiling . She's getting used to these boys . Looks like, they really form a good relationship .

After having a lunch break, Shun went back to the site with Rudolph and Daichi to continue the planning of his soon hotel and resort on this island . The pre-planning finished after three hours . They went back in the Villa and he right away takes a shower to freshen up after digging the afternoon snack Auntie Ling prepared .

Daichi complained they'll going to get fat if they will stay on the island forever .

He chooses comfortable blue jeans and white T-shirt then pair to a black walking sneaker after he took a shower . He told Daichi and Rudolf he will have a walk in the neighborhood . The two just said okay and just treated him like somebody .

The two conveniently hanging out in the back of the house near the pool, drinking beer . Rudolph occupied himself in front of his laptop not to work overtime but playing his online game . While Daichi half naked and jump off in the pool .

Shun cross his arms and shook his head while staring at these two . Looks who's the boss here? He chuckles and left .

He wanders the neighborhood and he meets few residents nearby . He already walks a little farther when he decided to enter the Man-Made Forest .

While trailing the cemented road, he heard some rustles from the distance . The forest where so quite but only the birds sing could hear . There are few animals noises as well like a deer . He knew they were endangered already and this forest is the safest place for them . He can't stop to feel proud .

The rustles are getting near . He could hear twigs twitching as a vehicle run across them . His eyes popped out when he realized who it is .

"Cassandra Marivella Chen Young!" he can't help to shout this girl's full name .

He makes a long and fast step towards her who's now stopped pedaling and just stun while staring at him . He can't stop himself not scolding her . The thing she made just now is very dangerous for non-professionals .

This girl is really stubborn for doing such a stunt . Not thinking of her own safety .

"What I am going to do with you!?" Shun murmurs then heaved a sigh after scolding her a little .

"Alright, let's go . " Shun turn around and began walking . He stopped in a moment then glance on his shoulder .

"What are you waiting for?" he asked .

Cassie followed him .

"Lead the way," he commanded .

Cassie glance at him before she goes to the front and leads the way .

In Cassie's thought, she knows her Master suddenly confused which route to take . . . but he still composes and wears his authoritative aura not letting her know that he now lost in the woods . Hehe . . . that's a secret . Cassie thought evilly .
