Chapter 63- Clash

Alright, it's a great morning.

I shall finally be entering Gorudo Forest today.
I’ll put my all into it.

I got up from the bed and lightly stretched. 
There doesn’t seem to be any abnormalities in my body.

I got out of my room and moved downstairs to the 1st floor.

As I entered, a voice called out to me as usual.

“Yo,Yuma. Over here, over here. Let's have breakfast together.”

Its Iguru. He was up earlier yesterday, but he seems to have woken up normally today.

I moved over to the seat while greeting Iguru.
It’s the usual sight.

“Oh yeah, Yuma! You are heading to Gorudo forest today, right?”

“I probably might be. Well, i'll come back here as usual after i’m finished.”

“Wow! You seem to be quite relaxed despite the fact that you will be going up against Cyclops from Gorudo Forest. You are quite reliable though.Well, although I say that, don’t go dying on me. Yeah.”

Sari came over with breakfast while we were talking.

“Yuma-san, Iguru-san, good morning to the both of you! Here is today's breakfast.”

After Iguru and I parted, Iguru was the first one to depart from Zinnia.

While I was almost out of Zinnia,

“You have finally arrived, Yuma-kun. Then, I shall quickly tell you the result of the investigation. Right now, the Rare Species that are currently in Gorodo forest is, I think that you already know about it, it's a monster called Cyclops.”

As I thought, tt's the Cyclops.

Fortunately, from the investigation, there seems to be only one.

As I was leaving, the surrounding Adventurers started speaking,

“Quickly reap the neck of the Cyclops and return!”

All the adventurers came towards while saying so.

Wa! These people, you were just scared of me a little while ago…., but this is fine as well.

For the sake of all the people in this village,

The inside of the guild became fired up from my response.

I was able arrive in a matter of minutes to the gate, and as usual, there stood the gatekeeper.
“Yuma-san, I heard all about it. Please make sure to be careful.”

Now, it’s finally time to head toward the Gorudo Forest.
According to the map, it seems to be that way.

Alright, let’s do this as usual! 
And as usual, I ran toward there.

“This seems to be the place, it seems to be significantly larger than the Stone forest and the Ogasu forest.”

While thinking so, I headed into Gorudo forest.

“That is, an Orc?”

The size was also a little larger than an Orc.

I retrieve the Demon Ripper from my Item Box, and activated Sign Isolation.

“Let's go!”

I instantly appeared behind the High Orc while slashing at it’s neck. My slash connects, and the lifeless head of the High Orc falls near my feet without any resistance.

Then, shall I move onward to find the Cyclops?

After a few minutes, I was able to find the Cyclops quite easily.

“Ha ha, so this is a cyclops? What an amazing pressure……..”

The face had a huge mouth with sharp teeth.

And the body seemed as if it was made of buffed muscular armor.
I’m quite sure, the creature in my current sight is stronger than anything that I have ever faced so far.

(ED: Meaning he will probably one shot it, lol)

So, this is a monster that is infinitely closer to an S-Rank monster……..

For now, let's use appraisal as usual.

Hmm, there doesn’t seem to be anything special about it’s skills.

It’s only a little OP. Strength, Endurance, and Agility stat gains are something that I can’t increase even if I level up.

But, I’m comparatively better with my Agility stat.

If I can’t take it down with a single strike, then I can follow up with Mount-Pig’s Shock and Awe technique.

It’s fine, I can beat it.

I continued to calm myself down with that line for a few minutes,

Retrieving the Demon Ripper, I once again activated Sign Isolation.
Alright, let’s go.

First off, it's waiting……..Well, that’s quite natural.
The aim is to go for the vital points from the start.

“Let’s go!”

And then, I jumped into range to get close to it’s neck.

“DIE!”

Infusing Magic into the Demon Ripper, and I slashed toward its neck!
This is my chance! BUT!

“GAAAAA!”

Che, this guy’s skin is too hard!

It’s not even in range of the Orc King.
I was unable to One-Hit KO even with my Magic Infused attack……..

(ED: I stand corrected)

“Gaaaa!”

In that moment, the Cyclops swatted my side with his huge hand.
This guy is attacking everywhere since he cannot spot me!

But, what power. The fist just lightly touched a huge tree by chance and it split in two from the middle. If a normal human were to get hit by one of those fists, then all that’s left of them would be Mincemeat.

I can’t aim for the head in this kind of situation, that would be a suicidal act.
For now, let’s start with the feet.

Fortunately, the Cyclops strength is quite strong, but its speed is not that fast. I’ll be fine since I am fast enough.

Alright, let’s go.

And then, I slashed its legs with full power.
“Gaaaaaaa”

The Cyclops was in a little amount of pain and started to move slower, but then it returned to its original attack pattern of the destroying the surroundings indiscriminately.

Damn, if it’s like this, then I will slash as many times as possible for as long as it takes.
After that for quite a while, I continued to slash at its legs.

And the result,

I thought this, so I slashed toward its neck.

“Until next time, DIE!”

To reap the Cyclops head with full power!

The power behind it was tremendous, I was blown away as if I was a ball.

“Gouu!”

I forcefully moved my body that could not move, and used an MP potion to Recover.
And then, I kept on healing my body.

“Fu~, I think I have healed my body to the extent that I can finally move.”

But still, what power.

It’s fine since I possessed Healing Magic, if it was a Normal person, then he would be done for.
Is this the power that is possessed by an A-Rank monster close to an S-Rank.

“Alright, I was able to heal myself. Let’s quickly go back to my previous location. If it escaped, then it would be quite troublesome.”
