The plan was made . Snowy notified Vivi, then used the official Weibo and Wechat accounts to send out a last-minute live broadcast notification . "Hello, everyone . It's very foggy today . Is everyone staying home? Today, Snowy will take a mysterious pretty girl to visit the pet shop . Stay tuned!"
Her diehard fans, curious about the mystery girl, quickly commented their guesses on who it might be . Snowy had never done a live broadcast with someone else . The mysterious pretty girl must be very close with Snowy .
Vivi tried to stop her anxiety . "Snowy, don't say 'pretty girl' . They'll laugh . Plus, if my mom sees . . . "
"Don't worry, Vivi . You can wear a mask for the broadcast, nobody will recognize you . " Snowy was confident . She quickly responded to some fans' questions, reminded Vivi about something, then packed up to leave .
Snowy was still in pajamas and needed to change, so Vivi exited the room .
Jiang Tianda was sitting on the couch, reading a biography . He lifted his head, saw it was Vivi, and he asked politely, "Vivi, what's wrong? Did you and Snowy have an argumnent?"
"No, Uncle Jiang . I need to buy some makeup, lipsticks and other things . Can I take Snowy with me? I need someone to help me pick the color . " Vivi said nervously, licking her lips . Snowy claimed that if she didn't use this excuse, her father would never let them out .
"Makeup?" Jiang Tianda was surprised . Snowy barely put anything on her face except the most basic moisturizer, and somehow Vivi was able to convince her to buy makeup? Was she a good influence?
"Yes . The outlet downtown has some new arrivals . I want to check them out . " Vivi spoke haltingly .
Jiang Tianda believed her and agreed, "Okay, you girls go ahead . Are you coming back for lunch?"
"We're not sure yet," Vivi replied .
"Fine . It's foggy . Be careful on the road . " Jiang Tianda stood up from the couch . Since he no longer needed to guard the door, he intended to head back to the study and work on the company's business . It was busy at the end of year .
"Okay," Vivi agreed .
Snowy dressed and opened the bedroom door . She left the door open so that Snowball could roam around the house . She took Vivi's arm naturally . "Vivi, sorry for the wait . Let's go!"
Jiang Tianda looked at them with suspicion . He still couldn't believe that Snowy would go shopping for makeup . After careful inspection, when he didn't see Snowy carrying a selfie stick, his doubt dissipated . Maybe Snowy had finally reached the age of paying attention to her looks .
Snowy stayed calm, and walked with Vivi as if they were close . They walked past Jiang Tianda's line of sight, stopping to change their shoes and put on masks, then went out into the fog .
"Is it nice to trick your dad like this?" Vivi felt bad for lying to Uncle Jiang .
"No worries! My dad is a workaholic . He'll never find out that we didn't go to the outlet, nor does he know anything about makeup . We'll buy lipstick from a random store on our way back . It'll be fine!" Snowy spoke with much ease .
Vivi was about to speak when Snowy interrupted her . "Vivi, wait for me here . " Snowy didn't explain further . She let go of her hands and ran past the house .
A moment later, Snowy reappeared in the fog with a short stick . "Let's go . "
"Snowy, where did you go?" Vivi asked curiously .
Snowy swung the new hand-held cradle head, and smirked . "I threw the stabilizer out the window, and had to pick it up . I always outsmart my parents . It's like I'm an undercover spy!"
Vivi was speechless, but Snowy asked her to hurry up .
The villa area around the house was quiet . Snowy and Vivi approached a lake, hearing a few barks . Then, a fully grown Husky suddenly jumped out of the fog, with its tongue out, and dashed towards them .
"Ah! A dog!" Vivi screamed . She saw the big dog and thought it was aggressive, which frightened her .
Snowy didn't care . She lifted one foot and yelled, "Stop! Good-For-Nothing! Stop running! Where's Uncle Jin?"
The Husky was Jin Er's . It tried to stop gracefully, but the road was damp and slippery from the ice . It slipped, landing on its back, and winked while it rolled towards them .
Vivi's terror turned into sympathy . She suspected that the dog's IQ was low .
Snowy had seen it before, and stopped it with her lifted foot .
Good-For-Nothing struggled to stand, and shook its hair like a handsome guy out of a shampoo commercial . It circled Snowy, sniffing her .
"Stop sniffing . Snowball didn't follow me . " Snowy put her foot down, and introduced to Vivi . "Don't be scared . This Husky is Good-For-Nothing . Like its name suggests, it can't even fight a cat, while my Snowball can beat two of them!"
Vivi was speechless . It must suck to be this dog .
"Is it hurt?" She asked in concern after realizing that Good-For-Nothing had quite a slip .
"No, it's fine . It has tough skin and enough muscle to endure a few slips . " Snowy smiled .
"Good-For-Nothing, where's your master?" Snowy looked around, but didn't see Jin Er .
Good-For-Nothing turned towards Jin Er's house, and walked two steps .
"Not home? Or inside?" Snowy gestured with her hands . "Maybe he's inside . It's foggy, the air quality is bad . Good-For-Nothing, don't roam around outside . Go home! We have things to do and don't have time to play with you . Go!"
After being shooed, Good-For-Nothing realized that she wasn't planning to play with it, and that the playful cat didn't follow her today . It felt lonely as it whimpered and left with its tail down .
Snowy thought that if Good-For-Nothing lived in an ordinary home instead of a well-guarded villa, it'd have been sent to a dog meat restaurant if it was caught playing outside without it master . If it lived somewhere else, it wouldn't have been so stupid!
