She had no idea how Zhen Difei got her number, but he sent her several messages to express his apology, which she felt that he's perhaps worthy of her forgiveness.

The reason Zhen Difei gave was that there's no enmity between them, and the conflict was directed at his cousin, Ni Jingqiu, in which he apologised for his actions, and he admitted that he took it a little too far. Thus, he wanted to apologise to Yuan Cui upon calming down and wanted to treat her to a meal as his apology.

In the end, Yuan Cui only fell into a dilemma for a few minutes before she agreed to his invitation.

"It's good that you know! Pack your things now, you're returning with us tomorrow!" Zhang Fen pressured.

Biting on her lips, Gu Rushan said with a grievance, "Mom, I have already signed a contract with the production team, and I'm complied to fulfill it. "Are you trying to find an excuse?" Gu Daoshan waved his hand in annoyance and sighed, "Darling, you have always been our pride. On the other hand, Gu Rushan had no idea that her parents being so forceful to her was a rotten idea from her cousin's wife.

When Su Tao returned, he came to Ni Jingqiu and whispered to her about Zhen Difei inviting Yuan Cui over.

Immediately, Ni Jingqiu frowned her brows before she rose from her seat and walked to the door to make a call before she turned around and gave Su Tao an eye signal.

From that signal, Su Tao knew that Ni Jingqiu had everything arranged.

Zhen Difei must be targeting Ni Jingqiu by trying to make up with Yuan Cui, but they had no idea of his plan. However, since they've discovered it now, then they would naturally make preparations for that.

The entire meal concluded in a pretty harmonious atmosphere. But when the Three Flavour Hall was mentioned, Cai Yan gave out a budget from of her professionalism, which Ni Jingqiu straightforwardly smiled. "Cai Yan, you don't have to worry. I will do my best for Su Tao's branch in Beijing, and the Newlight Media will bear all the costs. You just have to do the overall planning."

Cai Yan immediately turned to look at Su Tao, which he shrugged his shoulders. He knew the meaning behind Cai Yan's stare. The branch would cost at least ¥10,000,000, and Cai Yan was shocked at how Ni Jingqiu agreed to it so readily.

Since the Three Flavour Hall was undergoing swift development, they were strapped for cash. Thus, Ni Jingqiu's support was definitely a help in their hour of need.

However, Cai Yan was still on her guard, since they had to discuss the profits in the future, and at that time, it wouldn't be as harmonious as this meal.

After their meal, Ni Jingqiu arranged a chauffeur to send the three of them back. After Jiang Qinghan got out of the car, the chauffeur drove Su Tao and Cai Yan back home.

When the vehicle left, Cai Yan suddenly pinched Su Tao's elbow.

Hearing her words, Su Tao was stunned for a long time before he bitterly smiled. "So you were just acting during the meal earlier!"

Heavily nodding her head, Cai Yan replied, "What do you think? If I flared up at that time, wouldn't I embarrass myself? The more furious I am, the calmer I will have to be. I have to maintain my elegance and not lose to her."

"We're just best friends!" Su Tao sighed.

As Cai Yan's lips twitched, she sourly snapped, "Who do you think you're bluffing?"

Just when Su Tao wanted to raise his fingers to make another oath, Cai Yan grabbed his hand and helplessly said, "Stop making oaths. It's not a good habit to lie to the heavens all the time. After all, it won't be good if it came true."

In the end, Gu Rushan was convinced. She stood up, biting on her lips.

Standing to the side, Cai Yan wryly smiled. Su Tao was still fond of poking his nose into someone's business.

But she did not utter a word. She just sneaked a peek at Gu Rushan before she exclaimed at the latter's temperament. Although she felt jealous in her heart, Cai Yan also felt relieved at the same time.

If Su Tao wasn't fond of fighting for justice, how would she fall for him?
