As she stood at the edge of the tower, she was reminded of two important days in her life - the one where she left her parents and the one. where she really sang for the first time. It was time for another milestone moment.

Every time she had the opportunity to perform, she felt extremely excited, She wanted to sing with her whole soul, and this desire never left her, even when she was performing a song, There was a constant swirl of emotions that she wanted to convey through music. It was like a disease.

Despite the shrill heat, Liliana opened her mouth. The soles of her feet were burning, it hurt so much that she felt like she was about to fall to her knees and cry. Her body was letting her know that she was exhausted from running around the burning tower, that she wouldn't last much longer. However, the girl could not afford to moan. She had to sing for the people below.

What song did she choose for them? It was not one she learned from her mother or other artists. In a sense, she failed as a minstrel because she rejected the stories that she had inherited from earlier generations of singers, even though it was her duty to pass them on.

She performed a song, which was a gift from nature. She loved watching the dawn come and the sky tinted with a mixture of red and orange, which then turned to blue as a new day rose. She liked to say goodbye to the red dawn. She liked to think that after the night, no matter how hard it was, morning always comes, because a new day will eventually come for everyone. She thought about how many people in this chaos-ridden city must be afraid right now, how many are doing everything they can to survive in the darkness of night. For them, she sang out hope for the dawn. With her lily in hand, without interrupting her song, she began to dance, using the platform at the top of the tower as a stage. She wanted all these people to hear her and see her. But as sad as it was, her voice couldn't reach everyone. They were standing too far away, not themselves. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't overcome the distance barrier or break through the Sirius Authority.

Liliana believed in the power of song, but it only worked when the song reached its listeners. She didn't even know how many people were standing around the square. Hundreds? Thousands? How many could her voice reach? She had never faced such a challenge before. She didn't know what to do now. She didn't have any magical way to amplify her voice.

When she revealed to her parents at the age of ten what she dreamed of, they thought it was absurd. Today, she has once again collided with reality.

Here we go again.

Her song had real power in it, but she was still a fraud who can't do anything. Not even to communicate it to her listeners.

Just when she thought it was over, that her throat would burn, she was reminded of what this silly, strange man used to say. A real eccentric. Or maybe just a pervert? She heard in her head: "Liliana... My beautiful songstress! I want you to make me your slave for the rest of my days with that beautiful voice!".

There have been times before when people have tried to approach her with bad intentions. She pushed everyone away from her. She didn't want to use the song for mundane or nefarious purposes. Her minstrel pride would not allow her to do so.

"I was charmed by your beauty! Stay by my side!"

It was Kiritaka Muse who was the first to take an interest in her, and she let him in. Interestingly enough, he began his courtship with no idea that he was dealing with a female artist. When she finally sang for him, he was more interested in her body than the song. To be honest, she wasn't happy about it. She felt weird about it.

Instead, she had to admit that he wasn't trying to deceive her. His affection was sincere. And he had finally taken an interest in her work. He liked her beauty, understood her voice, knew her temperament and had no intention of letting her go.

"I want you all to myself, but I cannot appropriate your voice.... Let the Songstress be for all, and Liliana only for me, Is it wrong that I desire this?"

Sam suggested that she sing through the metia. "That way everyone in town will hear you," he said and smiled carelessly, as was his custom.

Well, Liliana had to admit that His smile was genuine. Just who seduced like that? She laughed at his efforts. She knew all about love. After all, she had dozens of songs about hot feelings in her repertoire. She knew every hookup theme, compliments and scenarios by heart.

Kiritaka had to try harder if he wanted to impress her. His pretty words didn't move her one bit. Once, he had come quite close to boosting her ego. It was when he called her Songstress. She liked the sound of it, though she knew it was a title that was far beyond her. He knew this, and by referring to her in this way, he wanted to show what kind of future he saw for her. In a way, he made her the Priestess of Priestella.

"Liliana, my Songbird. Your art will make any man happy!".

She wanted her voice to spread as wide as possible, to move, to convey feelings. Whatever darkness might be around, whatever gloom might prevail, the night would eventually pass. The dawn will come. As always.

Songstress Liliana Masquerade from Priestella, the City of Water Gates, sang as loud as she could, putting all her soul into it.

She did not even notice that the cries of despair of the people possessed by the Archbishop had quieted down. Everyone was now looking up at the tower burning with white fire, from which the song was resounding. Like magic they stared at the artist, listening as one.

Just a moment ago, Liliana's voice was too quiet to reach the people standing by the square. Now even those standing farthest away could hear it.

It was not a miracle, it was not a collective illusion, and the Archbishop's power had nothing to do with it either. Everyone heard Liliana's song, for at that exact moment, the gift she had received at birth - the blessing of Heart Penetration - was awakened within her. This gift, combined with the minstrel's skill and determination, led to the divine music that everyone downstairs heard.

Of course, Liliana had no idea what had just happened. There was no one with her to inform her of it. She just sang, putting all of herself into it, everything she had.

It was, without a doubt, the voice of a true Songstress.
