The monster I was up against right now…… It looked like a gorilla with cow’s horns and lion’s mane growing all over its body. I stabbed the thing repeatedly until it died, but that being said, it was surely a monster that you would found running around the African savannah rather than a forest like that. So what’s the deal with that? I see the themes here are all over the place.
「Emul, right there…… I want you to take His Royal Highness to the point we agreed on, and then come right here to rejoin the battle.」
「Yes, sir! Roger that!」
「Everyone! Listen up! I have heard your decision and I have decided to fully support it! So you will not have to wonder aimlessly anymore! You are going to regain the whole of this place…… Umm, the “whole” may be somewhat of a stretch here, since we still need to go the frontline base! But after that is done and out of the way, you can revive the village of the People of the Forest as much as you like!」
In response to that, all around me there were loud cheers coming from the People of the Forest.
…… There was also a loud roar coming from some monster further inside of the village, and that caused everyone to twitch in surprise. However, let’s just ignore this for now and carry one.
「Well, I shall take that as a cue that someone calls for my help. …… So that being said, Tottori, I am going to leave you for now and go help there.」
「Sure thing, go right ahead and do your best over there…… Meanwhile, I’m going to do my very best over here as well.」
「Just leave it to me! And watch out for that Monster versus Monster battle out there! You don’t want to be squashed flat!」
I really mean it. Tottori and his pals are playing a crucial role in this battle strategy of mine. Stalling for time is a huge part of that strategy, but that is not what is the most important here.
「Hey, and what about meee? Aren’t I going to receive some sort of words of encouragement? That would really make me want to try my hardest, you know~.」
「Please just go fight as many enemies as possible and end up getting killed in some dark alley, why don’t you?」
「Hey, if you keep on saying mean things to me like that, I’m going to end up crying, you know……? Oh, I know, how about this? If we end up winning this fight by some miracle, let us go on a date in real life, huh? What do you say, Sanraku-kun?」
「If that’s what you want, then I am going to purposefully kill myself to prevent that from happening.」

Leaving the deeply disturbing remarks of Deepslaughter aside, I then turn towards His Majesty the King, who appeared back here not so long ago. I was reluctant to do this, but some things just had to be said here.
「Your Majesty, you have no idea just how worried I was when I heard that you and your daughter proposed to be the decoys from the monsters. I know that you had good intentions, but…… Please, I would like you to value your own life a little bit more. Now then, there is a fierce battle ahead of us, so I would like you to go someplace safe and hide there.」
「Yes, maybe you are right…… However, Sanraku-sama, there is something I would like to say here.」

That’s it! The most infamous line of the entire game! The line that the Princess from the Shit Chronicles drops right before the protagonist is about to go into the final battle against the Demon Lord in his castle!
Why you little……!!! Why you little……––––!!!!!! Don’t you know!? You’re not supposed to be saying lines like that! Not before the incoming battle!!! It’s the greatest taboo there is!!!
See!? That is exactly why nobody liked you in Shit Chronicles Online! That is why you sunk in all those popularity polls! That is exactly why people all over the Internet were saying that they would gladly drop you on the uninhibited island in the middle of the ocean! Or that they would use you as a meat shield against the Demon Lord’s attack!! Because at least that way you could be useful for a change!!!
It really took a whole lot out of me to contain my rage and anger here, and keep the typhoon that was brewing inside of my heart from erupting outside. Instead of that, I bowed down my head, trying my best to keep the role-playing going.

Servers you right that Shalahar-chan swept the popularity polls every single time! Don’t underestimate the rage of the angry players! Byt the way, I was one of the thirty five hundreds of people who cast the vote for Shalahar-chan as the best girl!
Alright, let’s actually do this shit! Now I’m actually getting all fired up and motivated to see some action! But since neither Amachi Ritsu nor the Princess here can be the object of me releasing all of my frustrations, I know full well where to point them!
「Alright! Everyone, it’s time to get to work! We have a Red Dragon asshole to beat up! So do your best and try not to get killed there!!!」
When it comes to video games, I’m a firm believer that anger can be as good of a motivation to do something as anything else. It is precisely because of immense anger that I am walking through a grassy field of the Elven Village’s residential district, approaching the most dangerous spot in this entire place.
Even though Tottori, Emul and the People of the Forest joined the fray here, it does not change our situation all that much. We still have less than five normal players on the battlefield, and if we want to at least have a chance here, we would have to seriously overwork us three players to our very limits. Not to mention that I would mist probably be the one doing the most of the heavy hitting here, so it’s almost like having one player and all the rest would just be NPCs here.
「PIKYAYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!!!!!!」
「Let’s just jump right into the action here!!!」
One of the first things I do is to ram the Agar Tram straight into one of the eyeballs of the one of the three dragon necks that were growing out of the main body.
Then, while changing the equipment I also take out the healing potion and throw it onto the body of the tri-headed Tyrannosaur. That way I can at least help it in its battle and give it a slight edge here.
