The tri-headed Tyrannosaur glares at me, the sudden intruder that entered its field of vision. However, instead of going after me, its aggro was changed back ot the Great Red Devourer, since it was the bigger threat here, one that had to be deal with first. It’s like overlooking small insects or maggots when in the presence of your natural enemy.
「We are in for a long battle here, so let’s help each other out, huh? I will assist you to some degree, so don’t worry about me and go all out here! You are probably going to be the MVP here, so it’s not that great of a deal!」
Now then, I’ll show you, Great Red Devourer! I’ll show you how a Level Ninety Nine Extended character finishes up powerful monsters with the assist of another monster!

Thinking that, I start dashing straight towards the Great Red Devourer, who was locked in combat with the tri-headed Tyrannosaur. It’s roar also accompanied my charge, making for a nice BGM. Also, the huge mass of the Tyrannosaur was more than enough to be able to push the Red Dragon back.
However, it does not mean that their battle was one sided. Whatever tri-headed Tyrannosaur was able to do, Red Dragon was able to do those things as well, if not even better. After all, the Red Dragon was basically what we would call the ultimate predator here.

The mouth of the Great Red Devourer opens sideways, aiming towards one of the necks of the tri-headed Tyrannosaur, as if it was trying to devour it.
At the same time other mouths of the Red Dragon latch themselves onto the tri-headed Tyranno, trying to hold it in place and make it impossible for it to be able to dodge the incoming attack.
「This is where I come into play! See……!?」
The moonlight shines bright here tonight. I can say for sure that those conditions in the middle of the night are what works in my favor here…… Or rather, this is what makes the Scorpion Gauntlets so useful here.

Apparently, the combination I used here was too good to be simply passed up. So tri-headed Tyranno swings its tail like a whip. It comes flying through the air, crushing the crystal pillar into pieces and smashing right into the Great Red Devourer. Such power and such speed…… I wonder if it would have been enough to decapitate someone if it really wanted to do so?
「Kuh…… Come on, man! I thought we were totally having a moment here!」
I am proud of the bond that I managed to make with the Crystal Scorpions back at the cliffs, but truth to be told, it was only possible because I got turned into a ball for them to play around with on more than one occasion. And if they are going to patch some of the possible strategies because of my exploits, I am truly sorry, all other players! But you will have to think of something else on your own!
But it does not matter here at the current moment. At the moment I need to focus on making a good impression on this here tri-headed Tyranno. Hey! Why are you trying to attack me now!? What did I ever do to you! I have no beef with you!! That is exactly the reason why I must get on this monster’s good side, so that it will focus on the Red Dragon and Red Dragon alone.
When it comes to other games, there are some universal ways of shuffle the aggro of the monster to somewhere else. However, in case of ShanFro, a game with really good AI, this is going to vary from monster to monster. Because their AI is almost at the level of NPCs, with the exception that they cannot communicate.
「But if so, then there is a room for communication! A very primitive one, only utilizing actions instead of words!」
If you know how to convey your intentions through actions, words are hardly necessary in video games. Truly! By abandoning language, humans and monster can understand one another just fine! Long live actions!
Whoa there, Tyranno, what’s wrong? Something stuck in your mouth? Gotta spit it out……? You are about to spit it out, but what is it? Whoa! It was a mixture of both white and yellow, with some dark marbles stuck here and there. It really looked like something that it was unable to digest and just decided to expel it.
「Yes, that’s right Sprinkle it all over the place! Don’t forget to vomit all over the Great Red Devourer as well!」
Then, all of the three heads went upwards and started to open and close, open and close…… Could it be that there’s more it needed to vomit here? And there is something else mixed with the puke this time…… Is this fat? Also, there was something like a black smoke that was starting to come from the inside of its mouths…… Oi! Whoa, wait a second!

Uhahahahahahahaha!!! Isn’t that just stupid!? Isn’t that just broken and stupid!?
It looks like the vomit of this Dinosaur can recreate the properties of Napalm! That’s like the number one attack that the creatures living inside of the forest should never have in their arsenal!
Beasts were always afraid of fire, and people were always naturally attracted to it. And the emotion that people felt towards fire was not a simple fear. It was something else. It was “awe”.
So if you were able to demonstrate a technique like that right in front of a wild beast, there is no way that the tension here would not go up tremendously.
I wanted to let out a loud cheer here, but it would have been lost in the loud scream that the Great Red Devourer let out once it realized it was set on fire like that.
「Good, good! Let it burn! Let it have a taste of its own medicine! If we can do something like that to it, it has no choice but yield and scream!!!」
Apparently, the Great Red Devourer was not the only thing that was set ablaze here. My heart was also burning with passion unlike of which I have never felt before!
This is also an important element of any battle strategy! Come up with your own trump card! And then let your whole party see it! That kind of morale boost is what allows to win seemingly impossible battles!
How could you not support a teammate who revealed that they have a skill like that up their sleeve!?
「Alright then! Let’s get this show on the road, Tyranno! You go and deal some damage, and I shall support you no matter what!」
