Chapter Two
Section 1——The So-called Humans——
This forest is very peaceful.
This forest is very boring.
Eldoh-san said to me, it’s a very good place here.
A thousand years have passed. I learned a lot of things.
About the flowers.
About the seeds.
About the stones.
About the springs.
About the wind.
About the soil.
But I have a lot of things I don’t know.
Such as things outside the forest; I don’t know them.
Humans in or outside the forest; I don’t understand them.
So I have no idea.
Why that child is crying.
For me, I can’t understand the point of it.
These “humans” are incredible creatures.
I would really like to know about them.
