The following day.

Laura woke up early. She took a bath and changed the gauze on her wound.​​

She joined others in the dining room. They consumed breakfast in comfortable silence.

Laura avoided looking at Graven as much as possible. The awkwardness between them already sinks in.

When they finished eating...

Graven addressed them. "We will start traveling after one hour. Get ready everyone," he said. His eyes landed on Laura who avoided his gaze.

"Yes, My Lord!" Horace replied.

Horace left the room followed by Rebecca and Laura last, Graven was following behind her. He tugged playfully at her hair. "How's your wound?" he asked.

Laura showed him the affected hand with the gauze. "It's fine," she replied without looking into his eyes.

"Good," Graven said.

Laura proceeds to the stairs. This time Graven walked beside her.

They walked side by side in comfortable silence.

They went their separate ways after reaching the top of the stairs. Graven paused and looked at Laura's retreating form.

Laura reached the room and looked at the other end. She saw Graven looking at her. She pushed open the door and entered the room. She looked at her traveling bag.

She spent several minutes checking for other things that she missed putting in the bag.

She found none.

She went the bed and lies down, waiting for the time of their departure. She roamed her eyes around the room. This room is where she and Luke made love several times and this room is also the room where she and Graven made love. She released a deep sigh.

She had sexual intercourse with the two brothers and she's feeling a bit dirty.

Dammit!

She doesn't know if she still can face Luke and looked him in the eyes after what she and Graven have done inside this room.

Dang! How did she got entangled with the two brothers?

Her destiny surely sucks big time!

What is the future holds for her?

Her musing was shattered by the knocking on the door.

"Laura...are you ready?" Rebecca asked.

She went to the door and opened it. "Are we going to start traveling now?"

"Yeah," Rebecca replied.

"Okay, I'll get my bag," Laura said. She went to the chair and picked up her traveling bag.

The women exited the room, walked in the hallway, went down the stairs, and stayed in the living room.

Fifteen minutes later.

Horace entered the door. "The carriage is ready, ladies," he said and picked up their traveling bags.

The women exited the house and looked at the two carriages parking in front of the house.

Horace put Rebecca's bag in the second carriage. He looked at her. "We will travel on one carriage, dear," he winked at her.

Rebecca giggled. "Alright," she said and entered the carriage.

Laura's brows furrowed. Huh? Was she going to board and travel on the other carriage alone?

Horace looked at Laura. "Miss Laura, please enter your carriage," he said and put the traveling bag inside the carriage.

Laura entered the carriage and was shocked to see Graven inside. Is he going to be her traveling companion for the rest of the journey? She sat stoically on the wooden bench facing him.

A few minutes later, the carriage was already moving forward to start their journey.

They looked at each other.

"W-why are you here?" she asked. "I mean why are you traveling with me?"

Graven sighed. "Laura...can't you stand my presence beside you?" he said. "What's wrong with traveling in the carriage with you. It's not like we are going to do naughty acts inside the moving carriage," he said softly.

Laura took a deep breath. She doesn't have the right to question the owner of the carriage. If he wants to travel in the same carriage with her, then so be it.

"I just want to spend some time with you alone, I hope you don't mind," he said. "Don't worry, I will keep my hands to myself," he said casually.

Laura was amused by his statement. "Keep your hands to yourself, eh?" she said testing his resolve.

Graven smiled devilishly at Laura. His magnetic eyes were well directed at her, a smirk was tugging on his lips. "Are you teasing me or flirting with me, babe?" he whispered.

Laura smiled. OMG! He was calling her babe! Her heart somersaulted inside her rib cage. Traveling with Graven isn't so wise after all. She closed her eyes blocking his handsome image from her eyes. No, she can't stay inside this carriage with him. The sexual tension between them is eating her inside.

If Graven uses his full charm to tease her she might give in to his hypnotic charm.

When she opened her eyes, Graven was no longer inside the carriage, he disappeared all of a sudden! But she didn't remember the carriage stopping for even a few seconds...where did he go?

"Looking for me, babe?" Graven said, as he suddenly appeared beside her.

Laura got startled and yelped. "Don't prank me again!" she punched him in the arms.

Graven chuckled. "I just want to tease you..." he grinned.

"Don't call me babe! I'm not your babe!" Laura told him angrily. "Go back to your seat!" she said pushing him away from her.

Graven was not affected by her outburst. "I just want to sit beside you and smell your scent," he said in a serious tone. He realized that time is running out for him. He might no longer be able to get close to her like this. All that will be left for him is their short beautiful memories together.

Laura stopped pushing him away because all her efforts were futile. His body is like steel, she can't move him. She got tired and placed her hands on her lap. He's not moving an inch away from her. He's determined to stay by her side at all cost. She pouted.

Graven looked at her. "Why are you pouting?" he asked in amusement, pinching her nose.

Laura looked at him angrily. "I thought you will keep your hands to yourself!" she glared at him.

"I give up, I just can't keep my hands to myself. My fingers are aching to touch you," he said softly, his eyes glimmered with raw adoration and yearning for her.

Laura released a deep sigh. Fine! She will keep to herself for the whole duration of their voyage. She fished out her book from her bag and pretended to read.

Graven brows furrowed. "Eh? Why are you reading? It's not advisable to read when the carriage is moving it will hurt your eyes!" he scolded her.

"Nah, it's okay. I already get used to reading like this," she answered without looking at him.

Graven smirked and grabbed the book from her hands.

Laura glared at him. "Give me back my book!" she yelled at him.

Graven smiled and raised the book above his head. "No, you're going to destroy your beautiful eyes!" he said.

Laura lunged at him trying to grab the book from his hands. But he was determined not to return the book to her. She's not giving up! She's trying her best to get the book back but his hand moves so fast!

Graven was having a good time because sometimes Laura unconsciously rubbed her ample breast on his face and he was not complaining, 'coz he's super liking it! She was literally all over him, just the way he wanted it to be. He smirked secretly.

A few minutes later.

Laura got exhausted, she gives up trying to get the book and sat back on the wooden bench. She crossed her arms on her chest in displeasure. Graven was still sitting near her. "Shoo... stay away from me!" she shouted.

Graven was smiling... loving her petulant look. "Kiss my lips and I'll give you the book!" he ordered.

She looked at him in wide disbelief, annoyance was creeping up in her face. "What the hell... I'm leaving this carriage!" she declared angrily.

Graven chuckled, the beauty beside him is getting angry and yet she's still looking more beautiful than ever. "Here's your book, babe," he said softly, giving her back the book.

Laura's face finally soften. She accepted the book and looked at him. "What's that for?" she asked him.

Graven shrugged. "I just want to have a good time with you," he said.

"Huh? Is that your way of having a good time!?" she glared at him.

"What can I do? You're ignoring me. So I have to resort to snatching your book to get your attention," he said, defending his action.

Laura breathed deeply and looked at him. "I thought you are determined to stay away from me and keep your hands to yourself? But the way you are doing now, you are getting into my skin. You are swallowing your own words!" she accused him.

Graven sighed. "Yeah, I admit to myself that I'm violating my own rules when it comes to you. I just can't stay away from you. I have this sudden strong urge to get closer to you. I just can't help it!" he said. His face was showing conflicted emotions.

Laura shifted her gaze on the floor. "Are you going to compete with your brother Luke for my love and affection?" she finally asked the one question that is bothering her ever since Graven started taking interest in her.

Graven blinked his eyes twice after hearing her question. Is he going to compete against his twin brother's affection for Laura? Their sibling relationship will be destroyed if they are after the same woman. He was tormented deep inside.

He released a deep sigh. He was dumbfounded for a moment, unable to answer her question right away.

Laura sweeps her glance over his face, her face softens. It must be very hard to be in his situation, falling for the same woman that his twin brother also likes.

The more she looked at him, the more she realized that he's not hard to love, he is perfect in any way just like Luke. Just that she falls in love with his twin brother first. But since she doesn't want to destroy the bond between the two brothers, she will be the one to go far away, avoiding them both. "Don't worry, you and your brother will not have a fall out because of me. I'll disappear... so that you and your brother can move on with your lives without me, that's my decision," she finally said.
