The night was fast approaching in the forest.

Graven and Laura just finished eating dinner a while ago.​​

They're currently resting inside the house, standing at the window, looking at the sky above.

"Do you think it will rain tonight?" Laura asked, resting her head on his arm.

Graven looked above. "I think it's not going to rain tonight, the stars are beginning to light the sky..." he answered, sighing a bit.

"Yes! I swear...can't find you! I even went to grandpa in the forest to ask if you stay there for a few days and he told me that you haven't visited him for seven days straight," Horace elaborated.

Graven was dumbfounded. "WTF!?" That was the only word he can say for the moment.

"My lord, what happened to you? Where have you been?" Horace asked again.

Graven released a deep sigh. "It's a long story. I'm back now safe and sound. You no longer have to worry about me. I need to see Grandpa and asked him something important! I'll be back later!" he said.

A few minutes later, Graven vanished in front of Horace.

He reappeared in the mountain at Terros's place.

Terros was tending to his plants in the front yard of the bamboo house when Graven appeared in front of him. "Son, where have you been!?" he asked, as huge relief washed over him after seeing the young man, safe and sound.

"Something is wrong...!" Graven said.

"Huh? What's wrong? Are you hurt or harm in any way?" Terros asked, he inspected Graven's body up and down for any injury, he found none.

"Old man, Horace said that I was gone for one week! Is it true? Seven freaking days!" he said.

"Yeah, that's true! Horace comes here in the forest to inform me that you've been missing for one week and he's been looking for your whereabouts everywhere. Tell me, what happened to you? Where have you been?" Terros asked curiously. "Let's talk under the shade of the tree..." he said.

The two men went to the wooden bench under the tree.

Graven stared at the horizon absentmindedly.

Terros saw the daze expression on Graven's face. "Son, tell me what's going on?"

Graven released a deep sigh. "I honestly don't know what's going on!" he said running his fingers through his hair in frustration.

Terros patted his shoulder. "Start on the day you leave here after receiving the magical powder from me. What did you do after you leave this place?"

Graven rubbed his chin, recalling in his mind what took place after he left Terros place. He began his narration. "After I left here, I'm excited to put the powder in action...therefore I went to Katabilla Town and spread the powder in the air of that town... sadly I still can't detect Laura or Rebecca's scent... I was about to leave and go home to rest for the night. I was hovering in the air between Katabilla Town and Arrawalee Town... I have this strong urge to continue spreading the powder above Arrawalee Town...suddenly my nose detected Laura's scent...so I went to find the origin of the scent. That's when I reached the abandoned mansion and found Laura's feet and hands bound by shackles. I saved her and teleported back in one of my properties at Bay Meadow..."

He paused for a moment, taking a deep breath, and continue.

"But when I opened my eyes, Laura and I found ourselves inside the chamber of a cave. I thought my ability to teleport was hampered by the black liquid inside my body. We sleep in the chamber for the night and the next day we found the entrance and left the cave. Then we found an abandoned house in the middle of the forest and stay in that house for several days. "So...what happened next?" Terros asked.

"I tried finding the way out of the forest but I failed each time. I always met with a dead-end!" Graven replied.

"So, what about Laura? Is she okay?" Terros asked.

"Yes, she's okay. Vampires in a black hooded cape imprisoned her in the abandoned mansion. But the thing that bothered me is that during the time I rescued her, no one is guarding her," Graven said.

"That's strange! So where is Laura right now?" Terros asked.

"It's just a dream, old man. Because when I wake up in the same house in my dream. I didn't find Laura. I'm just dreaming of her the whole time! It's not real!" Graven explained.

"Hmm..." Terros rubbed his temple. "Are you sure that it's just a dream?"
