Docor saw the frozen chariot and the horses. He waved his hand and the horses came alive. He looked at his servant. "Bring the horses back to the stable!" he ordered.

"Yes, my lord," the servant replied. He removed the horses from the chariot and bring them to the stable, located at the back of the headquarter.

Docor boarded the chariot and starts his investigation. He looked everywhere... for something... and he finally found what he's looking for under the chair. The black silver necklace with a black opal pendant, the special pass that would allow Sylvia to navigate the towers with ease and can command special treatment. It was already cut in half.

If the chariot was frozen? Then Sylvia should be frozen as well, then how come the necklace was under the chair of the chariot? It only means two things, either Sylvia fought the attackers or she was taken away in her frozen form and the necklace was intentionally cut in half to make it looks like there is indeed fighting going on during the time the incident happened.

He had already established the possible scenario.

The next thing to do is to find where the attackers hide Sylvia! Where do the rebels hide his precious visitor?

He looked at one of his men standing a few meters away and motioned him to come forward. "Take me to the area where you see the frozen chariot!" he commanded.

"Yes, my lord!" the man replied.

The men vanished from the headquarter and appeared in the area where the incident took place.

"This is the place where we found the frozen chariot, my lord!" the guy said.

Docor scanned the area and noticed that the chariot's location was already near the vicinity of the Pinaccle Tower.

He was silent for a moment.

The massive gate under his jurisdiction is where all the souls entered the Netherworld Kingdom. The Soul Mast Tower is where the souls that are bound to be reincarnated are being housed in cells. While the Pinaccle Tower is the place where the souls of the ancient beast, demons, notorious creatures, and others of similar types are being housed. It's a well-guarded facility.

Docor looked behind him.

The Soul Mast Tower under Mehos's governance stood proud and erect.

Could it possibly mean that Sylvia already visited that tower and was on her way here to the Pinaccle Tower?

Or Sylvia instructed her escort to bring her directly to the Pinaccle Tower, bypassing the Soul Mast Tower?

He ended up with more questions that has no answer.

He can try to investigate further by asking the guards at the Soul Mast Tower if the chariot arrived at the place and they have seen a beautiful lady entering the tower?

That's what's he's going to do!

He looked at his servant. "Go back to the headquarter!" he ordered.

"Aye, my lord," the guy responded and vanished from the area.

Docor disappeared from the place.

He reappeared at the gate of the Soul Mast Tower.

"Greetings, my lord!" The guards bowed their heads, acknowledging the presence of another custodian.

"What can we do for you, my lord?" the leader of the guards asked.

"Guys, I just want to ask if a chariot arrived here delivering a beautiful lady passenger. She is my special guest," Docor asked.

The leader shook his head and replied. "No chariot has arrived here, my lord."

Docor brows knitted together. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, my lord!" the leader responded.

Docor saw that the leader was telling the truth but to be sure he needs to do something!

He waved his hands at the six guards and froze them on the spot. He went to the leader's side and place his hand on his head, he will know if he was telling the truth or not by reading his memory.

A few minutes later, Docor finished reading the leader's memory and found no memories of his chariot arriving at the place!

Annoyed, he waved his hand and unfreeze the guards. Then he vanished from the place in the blink of an eye.

Back in the Soul Mast Tower.

The assistant saw what happened at the gate. When her master instructed her to choose a servant girl to disguise as Sylvia, she knew right at that moment that Lord Mehos has no plans to allow the special guest to return to Docor and where she come from. He planned to keep the woman by his side for his gratification.

She looked at the wall of the room and spoke. "My lord, Lord Docor has begun his investigation. He already asked the guards at the gate and even froze them and read the leader's mind as well. He's probably suspecting already that Sylvia has arrived here but someone is covering her tracks!"

"Don't worry, as long he can't find any evidence of the chariot arriving here then he won't be able to trace Sylvia's disappearance back to me. Besides, I already erased the memories of Sylvia and the chariot in the guards memory. No matter what Docor does next, he will never know that I got Sylvia," Mehos replied.

"Okay, my lord. But... what if he will come back here and try to read my mind? What I'm gonna do if that happens?" the assistant asked worriedly.

There was silence for a few seconds.

"Alright, thanks for reminding me that!" Mehos said and appeared in front of his assistant in the blink of an eye.

The assistant looked at her master. "What are you going to do, my lord?" she asked.

"I know what to do! Just close your eyes and I will erase all the memories you have about the chariot and Sylvia's arrival in this tower. This will guarantee us that no mater what happens next, Docor won't be able to trace Sylvia's presence in this place," Mehos said.

"Got it, my lord!" The assistant shut her eyes.

Mehos proceed to erase his assistant's memories concerning the chariot's arrival and Sylvia's presence in the tower.

A few minutes later, he finished his task and left the room.

Mehos was back in his secret room.

Grinning, he joined Sylvia in the bed and hugged her tightly, burying his lips in her neck. "You're mine starting today and forever!" he whispered in her ears.

"Nooooooo! Let me goooooooooo! Get off meeeeee!" Sylvia was screaming at the top of her lungs but sadly, no one can hear her voice. Her voice was trapped inside her mind as her temporary body become immobilized by Mehos.

She didn't expect that her coming to the netherworld would make her a prisoner to the person that she trusted the most, 500 years ago.

What she's going to do now?

She can't even make her voice heard! She's getting frustrated!

Judging by the looks of things, if Mehos's madness will continue and kept her a prisoner in this room, it will take a long time before she can return to the land of the living.

Her only hope to escape this hellish situation is Docor!

She hoped that he will start wondering why she wasn't able to return to him in time and he will conduct a search team to find her escort that was attacked by those black shadows. She hoped the poor guy survived or else no one can explain what happened to them.

If only Mehos would allow her to talk, she can negotiate with him and then escape back to the land of the living.

She's starting to regret why she comes here in the first place. It looks like, it's going to be her end. Or maybe not?

She can't lose hope right now!

She needs to find a way to escape Mehos's clutches before it's too late.

Mehos was kissing Sylvia's lips for a few minutes. "Ah, darling... I never thought that one day we can be together for eternity. I always dream about it, you and I cuddling on the bed and I'm free to do anything with your body. That fantasy of mine that started long time ago is finally happening right now. It would be nice if you can reciprocate my feelings for you so that my happiness is complete," he whispered.

'Then allow me to speak and move, dammit!' Sylvia screamed.

But as usual, she was the only one who can hear her voice.

Mehos looked into Sylvia's eyes deeply. "I do hear your voice. Unfortunately, I can't allow you to move or speak, because I am afraid that you will find a way to escape my room and I don't like that to happen. I waited for a long time and now that the chance is here for you and I to be together as a couple, I can't let this golden opportunity pass by without taking advantage of it. So, I deeply apologized if you don't like what I'm doing to you right now," he said, grinning triumphantly.

He continues kissing Sylvia's lips.

A few minutes later, he stopped.

"You know what, I'm planning to bring you to the The Eclipse Lake. You know what the lake does to the people who drinks the water? The water has a magical properties that can erase one's memories. If I'll bring you there and you will drink the water of the lake, you will forget your past, and afterward, I'm the only guy who will reside in your mind and heart. You will forget your lover Zalvo and you will stay by my side forever!" Mehos said.

Sylvia was shocked, she began screaming, 'Noooooooo! You can't do that to me! I need to go back to the land of the living! It's not my time yet to fade away! I need to go home!'

Mehos smiled. "Oh, sorry to hear that, my darling. From now on, you're already my property. No one can ever take you away from me!" he declared boldly.

Sylvia was screaming inside her mind. 'Noooooooo! Please don't erase my memories! I don't want to forget my family! I want to go back to the land of the living!" she begged, crying helplessly.

Mehos smiled. "No, my darling. You can no longer return to the land of the living.. You will stay here with me in the land of the netherworld! Because you and I are meant to be together, 'till death do us part!" he said, beaming happily, while he continued kissing Sylvia's face.
