"I have to do the candle ritual..." Menedelia said.

"What kind of ritual?" Elva asked curiously.

"I'm going to use the lights from the candles and also enter Graven's body with my soul. I will attempt to enter his consciousness and see if I can find him there. There is no guarantee that Graven's soul is indeed trapped in his consciousness, but since he was already reduced to this condition then we might as well try it," Menedelia proposed.

"Ah, so you have spiritual and magical candles that helps you in your ritual. No problem, if you need my assistance, I'm willing to support you just to wake up Graven," Elva said eagerly. "I will no longer question your ways as long you know what to do and it won't worsen Graven's condition then you have my full support," she added.

"Good! I need one volunteer to assist me because the ritual needs sacrifice," Menedelia said.

Elva's brows knitted together. "What kind of sacrifice?" she asked curiously.

"The one who assist me will sacrifice a small amount of fresh blood from him or her. Just a small cut, nothing fatal," Menedelia said reassuringly.

"Ah, okay. No problem. Terros and Veronica will be willing to assist you, you can pick one of them," Elva suggested.

"I'll chose Grandpa Terros... if he's up for it," Menedelia stated.

"Okay. Let's go back to the terrace..." Elva said.

That was also the time Terros entered the healing room. He looked at them. "What's up, ladies?" he said.

"Menedelia chose you to assist her during the ritual. Would you be willing to assist here?" Elva asked.

"Sure! I'm 100% willing to do anything for Graven," Terros said excitedly.

"Um... it needs a little sacrifice from you. You have to sacrifice a small amount of blood for the ritual. Are you willing to do it?" Elva asked.

"Yes! No problem! It's just small amount of blood. I will do it!" Terros replied eagerly.

"Great! "Menedelia said.

Elva looked at her. "When are you going to do the ritual?"

"Today, after I bring all my ritual tools here. First, I need to go back to my house in the forest and bring my stuff here so that we can proceed with the ritual right away, "Menedelia responded.

"Awesome! Let's do it!" Terros said excitedly. "I'll accompany you to your place and then let's return here right away... how about that?" he suggested.

"Much better! I will explain to you the process of the ritual after we return here," Menedelia replied.

"Okay," Terros said.

They exited the healing room and went back to the terrace.

Rebecca looked at Menedelia. "How is it, Granny? What do you think of Graven's condition?" she asked.

"I will do the ritual. Do you still remember when the ring kidnapped me and brought me to another dimension and you perform the ritual for me with the help of the candles?" Menedelia said.

Rebecca nodded her head. "Yeah! I remember that incident. We are going to do it again with Graven?"

Menedelia shook her head. "Yes, we will do the same ritual but I chose Grandpa Terros to assist me this time," she replied.

"Okay. If you need my assistance, let me know. I'm willing to do anything for Graven," Rebecca stated.

"Grandpa Terros's assistance is enough for me," Menedelia declared. "I'm going back to my house to get my stuff and bring it here. Grandpa volunteered to go with me so that we can perform the ritual right away," she added.

"Ah, okay. I'll just wait here then and enjoy the breathtaking scenery..." Rebecca said.

Menedelia smiled. "Enjoy the view," she said and looked at Terros. "Let's go Grandpa!"

"Okay," Terros replied.

Menedelia hold Terros's arm, they vanished from the terrace in the blink of an eye.

A few minutes later.

Terros and Menedelia landed in front of the hut.

"Grandpa, you can wait in the wooden bench while I get my stuff from my room," Menedelia suggested.

"Okay, I'll wait there," Terros replied and went to the wooden bench, relaxing under the shade of the tree.

Menedelia proceed inside the house and went to her room.

She opened the cabinet and removed the three white big candles from the cabinet and the one with the green thread wrapped around it. She put four candles total in the wooden box along with the black cloth.

Then she wrote the spell on the piece of paper for Terros to read if he can't memorize it.

She already got everything she needs. She picked up the wooden box, left the room, and went outside. She walked towards Terros's location. "I'm ready now to go back to the deity's place," she announced.

Terros looked at the wooden box. "Let me carry that for you, dear," he offered.

"No need, Grandpa. I can manage, it's not that heavy," she replied.

Terros smiled. "Alright, let's go!"

Menedelia holds Grandpa's arm, a moment later, they vanished from the area in the blink of an eye.

After a few minutes, they resurface in the terrace of Elva's abode.

Elva looked at them. "That was fast!" she commented with a smile.

Menedelia returned the smile. "We only get this box from my house and come back here right away," she replied.

"Are you going to do the ritual now, Grandma?" Rebecca asked.

"Yep," Menedelia said.

Terros and Menedelia left the terrace, entered the house, and went to the healing room.

They saw Veronica inside, she was removing the stuff on the table.

"Thank you, dear," Menedelia said and put the wooden box on the table.

"You're welcome. Do you need anything? I can get them for you," Veronica offered.

"A scissor, clean cloth to wrap the wound on Grandpa and Graven's palm. Then a small bowl, spoon... ah... what else? I almost forgotten... the sharp knife to cut the flesh. That's all, thank you!" she requested.

"Got it!" Veronica said and left the room.

"You will cut Graven's hand with the knife?" Terros asked.

Menedelia nodded her head. "Yeah, I forgot to tell you about it. I need his blood so that the light from the candle can find him. Just in case I have a hard time finding him, the candle will find him for me and bring his soul back to the open. The light that will appear from the candle will enter Graven's nose and find his soul. I'm also entering Graven's body in my spirit form, it will be a joint effort, the light and me will one find Graven wherever he is. If I fail, the light will continue to find Graven for me," she explained.

"Ah, okay... Anything else I need to know?" Terros asked.

"I'll set up the candles on the table first," Menedelia said.

"Okay, take your time," Terros replied.

Menedelia opened the wooden box and put the black cloth on the table first, then she arranged the three candles in a triangle position and put the candle with the green thread in the center.

"The four candles must be lighted together, then you need a spoonful of blood from the the bowl and heat it above the candle with the green thread while chanting the spell. So basically, your blood and Graven will be mixed together thoroughly before you burn a spoonful above the candle. The blood is a sacrifice to lure the three powerful white lights out and they will enter Graven's body to find his spirit," Menedelia elaborated further.

"Okay, I got it!" Terros replied.

Menedelia handed him the piece of paper. "If you find the spell hard to memorize for such a short time then just read it and don't stop chanting it until the light of the green candle will make it's presence and enter Graven's body. After it entered graven's body, you can stop reciting the spell and just make sure that the four candles were lighted. Keep the light going on for the candles, okay?"

"Copy, loud and clear!" Terros replied.

Veronica entered the room and put the wooden tray on the table. She began cutting the white piece of cloth that can be used to wrap around the wound.

Terros holds the knife and the bowl and went to Graven's side, he cut his palm and let the blood trickle into the bowl while Menedelia was watching.

A few minutes later.

"That is enough!" Menedelia said. "Next is yours..." she said.

Veronica cleaned the cut on Graven's palm, she put a powdered herbal medicine on the open wound to stop the bleeding, then wrapped a white cloth around it.

Terros cut his palm and let the blood fall into the bowl.

A few minutes later.

"That's enough," Menedelia said.

Veronica cleaned Terros's wound, put medicine on it, and wrapped it with a clean cloth.

Done, Veronica walked towards the door. "I'll wait outside, just in case you need assistance just call my name and I'll enter the door right away," she said.

"Thank you for your help, dear!" Menedelia said. She looked at Terros. "Are your ready, Grandpa?" she asked.

Terros took a deep breath. "Yes, I'm ready!" he answered confidently.

"I'll give you enough time to memorize the spell while I lay on the bed to internalize. One you see a white light getting out of my body and entering Graven's nostrils, that's my spirit. You can start heating the spoon with blood above the candle on the center. Okay?" Menedelia said. She put the bowl of blood in the center, beside the candle.

"Got it!" Terros replied.

"Let's get started. I'm going to lay down on the bed now," Menedelia said and hopped in the bed. She covered her body with the white blanket.

Terros read and tried to memorize the spell, good thing it's not too long.

Menedelia shut her eyes and meditated. A few minutes later, she opened her eyes and looked at Terros. "I'm now ready to enter Graven's body..." she said and closed her eyes again.

With just one wave of his hand, Terros made the candles come to life.

Out of the corner of his eyes... he saw Mendelia's spirit, a thin white light leaving her body, and floated in the air for a few seconds before entering Graven's nostrils.

Terros covered the spoon handle with cloth, filled it with blood from the bowl, and heated it above the candle located at the center of the formation while chanting the spell.

A few minutes later, the three white lights that looks like silk thread finally appeared above the spoon, Terros continue chanting the spell, the lights were shining brightly, blinding him, he closed his eyes for a moment and when he opened them, he saw the lights entered Graven's nostrils and disappeared inside.

He released a sigh of relief. Whewww! His part is done!

He put down the spoon in the bowl and relaxed a bit.. He glanced at Menedelia's body lying on the bed pondering about what's going on inside Graven's consciousness right now.
