Cooper exited the living room and went outside. He went to the back of the house and sat on the swing facing the bungalow house, waiting for his brother.
One hour later.
Graven walked in the cemented pathway going to his house.
Cooper left the swing. "Brother, wait!" he said and went to his brother's side.
Graven stopped in his tracks and looked at him. "What is it-?"
"How long are you going to stay here?" asked Cooper.
Graven pondered the question for a moment. "I'll be staying here for one week," he answered.
"That's too long!" Cooper blurted in protest.
Graven raised his brow in confusion. "Why?"
"I want you to go back to your place right now and only come back here on the day when Laura and I are going to get married. That's what I'm asking from you. I rarely ask you anything, just this once," Cooper pleaded.
Graven's confusion intensifies. "But why-?"
Cooper took a deep breath. "Can't you see, Laura is trying hard to catch your attention the whole time! I think she was attracted to you the first time she saw you. I don't want her to leave me because of you. I like Laura a lot. It will break my heart if she kept fantasizing about you while she kept ignoring me. Let's face it, when it comes to the look department, you are much more attractive looking than me. Naturally, women will flock to you. You will have no shortage of women to keep you company. My future wife is my happiness. Please pity your ugly and pathetic brother..."
Graven stared at Cooper for a few minutes and sighed. "Anything else?"
"No more. I just want you to leave right now. It will give me peace of mind. Please, don't get me wrong. I hope you understand how I feel right now. I wish you will understand the painful feeling of watching your soon to be wife staring at your good looking brother. I don't want to elaborate much. I feel pain every time Laura looked at you. I'm just being honest here. I hope you understand my situation," Cooper said.
Graven shifted on his feet and sighed. "I see you are jealous out of nothing at all. I want you to know that although your wife is beautiful, she's not my type. I felt no attraction to her. So...rest your mind at ease and stop being suspicious of her, " he said.
Cooper snorted. "You stole my women before! I can't trust you when you're in the same place as my future wife. I'm just being cautious, don't get me wrong..." he insisted.
Graven sighed. "Correction, I didn't steal your women. They're the ones chasing after me. I never bedded any of your women out of respect for you!"
Cooper growled. "They told me that you are ten times a better love than me. They talked about their wonderful moments with you in bed. Don't tell me - that they're lying!" he hissed at him.
"You should know by now that women sometimes tell lies for their benefits," Graven said and released a deep sigh. He clenched his hands in annoyance. He was annoyed with his brother's childish behavior. But even if that's the case, he maintained patience all the time in dealing with Cooper's outbursts. And today is not an exception. "Alright, since you ordered me to leave, then go ahead, informed my driver in the stable to ready my carriage. I'll just take my belongings out from the house," he said calmly.
He won! Awesome! Cooper grinned. "Thank you for your understanding, brother," he said and left the mini-park to go to the stable and inform the driver to prepare his brother's carriage.
Graven watched his brother's back until he disappeared from his view. He proceeds to walk towards his house to gather his things and left.
