Chapter 4: The Investigation
Translated by superior felix ……

Part 1
The new students were getting used to life at the Academy.

Finley was on her first day off in the harbor of a floating island.

The reason why she had come to the port of this island near the capital was because of a letter from her parents.

At the meeting place, Finley unfolded the letter she had received from her sister Jenna.

It said: "I am heading to the landing of the royal capital for some business, meet me there".

As she sat on a bench waiting for Jenna, Finley let out a deep breath.

"Why do I have to spend my precious day off picking up my older sister?"

Finley was unsatisfied that her day off was ruined, but she was a bit excited. to see Jenna.

She has gotten used to life at the Academy, but she remembers more and more about her home. And her parents.

Finley would never admit it, but she did miss her home a little.

As Jenna descended the airship ramp, Kyle appeared behind her, carrying two handbags.

"It's been a long time since I've been in the royal capital!"

Behind Jenna, who was impressed, Kyle, who was carrying her luggage, had a Shocked face

"Don't forget to finish your business here."

-Of course

When Jenna noticed Finley, she gave a big hand wave . Finley got up from the bench and waved a bit.

But she was also aware that people were watching them.

Uwa ~, they do stand out.

Jenna and Kyle were gathering gazeses from the surroundings.

The reason for this was because the exclusive servant system has almost disappeared. Some women still had their servants secretly, but the number of people who carried them with themselves openly was diminishing.

It was for that reason that Jenna stood out.

Jenna noticed their looks too, but she ignored them and hugged Finley as she approached.

"I've missed you so much, Finley!"

-Let go. Rather, I am surprised that our mother and the others allowed you to come to the royal capital.

"I worked really hard for a month and they gave me a chance. Unexpectedly it was not so hard."

Finley was in awe of Jenna's words.

"Don't get carried away, you're going to fail."

"I absolutely don't want that! Putting that aside, isn't it the  season of invitations to tea parties? Did a boy invite you?"

Smiling, Jenna tapped Finley lightly with her elbow.

Jenna seemed to want to tease her, but Finley shrugged.

"Everything is different from when you were here, sister. There is still the season of the tea party, but it is not romantic at all. It's really just about having tea with the boys."

-Huh? Is that so?

"First, the girls are told to throw a tea party. But I'm going to ask my brother to help me.”

"Leon is very picky about tea. He behaves in a haughty way even though it is not a big deal, and he's a very bad-tempered idiot brother.”

-I know that! Also, you have to keep something like a curfew, anyway, it's too annoying and can't be helped.

Jenna was amazed at how much the Academy had changed.

"The Academy has changed a lot. The current headmaster used to be the manners teacher. It seems that the tea party itself was not lost, but it makes no sense for girls to invite boys."

"It seems that anyone who does is fine. And they said you can invite your friends and do stuff.”

"It's even more unnecessary and pointless. Isn't it just a tea party where you don't have to know anyone, or is it just one to kill time?”

Kyle, who was listening in on the two of them, wanted to move faster.

"From my point of view, it does not matter. Haa, will my Master and the others do one?And having a good time?”

Kyle was worried that Marie and the others weren't here, but Finley told him no there was problem.

"They're a little out of place at the Academy, but they don't seem to have a problem."

"If they're a little out of place, that's normal. I am relieved to hear that.”

As Kyle showed a relieved expression, "Dorothea Fou Roseblade" stepped off the ramp.

next to Nicks, pulling him by the hand.

After seeing them, Finley asked Jenna why they were here.

"Why are those two here too?"

"We have come to buy some things."

If you looked closely, you could see that Jenna and the others were aboard the most grand ship of the Baltfault family.

Nicks walked over to Finley and spoke to her.

-A lot of time has passed. I am relieved that you are well. By the way, Leon has not caused problems, right?

He was more concerned about the trouble Leon would have caused than about his safety.

- He's calm, except when he's hanging around the place. Thanks to my older brother, I am living a relatively peaceful school life.

Finley was also thankful that the people around her did nothing. unnecessary to her just because she's Leon's younger sister.

"Well, weird things are coming up though."

-Weird things?

Nicks tipped his head along with Dorothea, standing next to him, raised her index finger to explain.

"It's about those people who are trying to break in, Nicks. Leon is very popular.”

Finley's name does not appear there because the people around her see Leon through her. That was annoying for Finley.

When Nicks saw that his younger sister looked angry, he decided to change the subject.

"Leaving Leon aside, is there a boy that interests you?"

Then Finley thought of a student she often talks to. Oscar, a really stupid guy, but a nice guy who's hard to hate.

"I have one, but he's like a friend."

"That's good, right?"

Finley and the others continued their conversation as they headed to the capital.
