Volume eight has arrived—an auspicious number, symbolizing prosperity to come! I owe this to all of you. You have my gratitude.
This volume has a mom team-up! And her mother finally appears, making for a grand-scale family tale I hope you all enjoyed.
Once again I owe a tremendous debt to Iida Pochi.; my editor, K; and everyone in editing, publishing, and sales. This release is the result of all their contributions.
Meicha is working on the Do You Love Your Mom manga, and the second volume has been released, so I’d like to celebrate that as well as express my gratitude.
And to all the staff helping with the Do You Love Your Mom anime: I can’t wait for the broadcast to begin in July 2019. I know you’re all hard at work, and I wish you the best.
I’d also like to say a word to the readers who have written to me.
Thank you! I never imagined anyone would be writing to me personally!
