Chapter 5 – The color of the lonely Saehrimnir
After Freya-sama concert that everyone in ‘Asgard’ was anticipating had ended, after the troublesome temptation spell had been lifted and ended, the various troubles that was caused by Mardoll-sama had been all been settled.

In the midst of that, we were able to help Loki and Freya-sama to reconciled, so it was a good end. After we had sendoff Mardoll-sama, who was heading back to ‘Midgard’ in a lively way, the usual peacefulness of ‘Asgard’ had returned.  

But there was one matter—where I was able to avoid the worst case scenario after my curse had went on a rampage.

“…I felt that…it almost calm down.”

The morning in my own room, I stand in front of the mirror and carefully check my body thoroughly. The thing that I was concerned on was not my appearance but it was to check whether the black sediment, which was similar to the cold breath during winter, had disappeared from my body or not.

A few day after the conflict during the concert was solved. I had holed up myself in my room by using the excuse that I was feeling down. Of course, the reason for doing that was because I am able to avoid having any encounter.

After that conflict… I afraid that due the declaration from Freya-sama and the Valkyries which imply that they wanted to owe me had caused my curse, where it will kill the owner, to become stronger. Up until now, I was somehow able to control the curse by using my wall of consciousness but since that wall was overtaken, it would be easy to regain control on it by using an ordinary method.

“Is it alright now…?  For me to return to where everyone is.”

That was not an easy judgement at all. That was because somehow will die if I had made the wrong move. As this was that type of curse after all.

But… nothing will happen if I just holed myself here.

The usual daily life. The cycle of life that everyone was living in. I had returned back to ‘Valhalla’ because I desired for that type of future. It would had been better for me to remain obediently in Andvari workshop if I am able to interact with anyone. Which was told by my shadow—Falsch.

“…No, I can’t! How long do you plan to remain like this, me!”

I will never lose to my curse. I will challenge it. If I do that—I will become the usual me.

“Okay! Let do the best for today also~!”

The declaration of my new determination resounded in my chest and also toward the wide blue sky that was just outside of my window.

Who care about this curse that kill it owner? Who care what happen if it go on a rampage? That was not my concern at all. I will just try my best in enjoying the peaceful day that remain unchanged up until yesterday.

Today was the first day, so let try my best to live as normal as possible. ‘Today was really a peaceful day that does not worth to be mentioned’, which was what I wrote down in my dull diary. …Well, in the first place, I only write a diary sometime.

Nevertheless, let proof it. That I was able to control my curse perfectly… also for this time.

“Okay, let go for the morning jogging first! I can’t start my day without doing this!”

After I done some light warm up exercise, I went out of my room and dashed with all my might toward the starting point which was the entrance of the main building of ‘Valhalla. Let start right away as the warm up was quite sufficient.

“Hi Hi Fu, Hi H Fu… huh? Witige-san?” (Hi hi fu is sound of breathing)

While running with the relaxing breathing method that I came up with recently, I spotted Witige-san. Hm… as expected of the strongest Einherjars that hold the title of ‘the black sword saint’. He was even number one in term of waking up early among the Einherjar.

“Good morning, Witige-san! You’re quite early!”

“Oh, it nice to meet you, Sei-dono. Good morning to you too. What’re you talking about, the morning for the old folks was always early as I can avoid boredom by taking care of the plant.

He only do this when he was in the mood but… in addition to that, Witige-san was returning to the building while holding the scissor for pruning and the watering pot.

“Ah, let me help you in carrying one of them.”

“Hm? Ah, it okay, thank you for your concern. As I can’t afford to bother Sei-dono jogging routine.”

“It okay. I am just jogging for exercise purpose only, so I will also be exercising if I help you to carry the baggage.”

“Is that the truth? If that’s the case, I will accept your offer.”

While saying that, Witige-san handed me the watering pot hesitantly. After I transformed into my human appearance, I took the watering pot and headed back to the entrance of the entrance.

“This feel so nice.”

Witige-san suddenly muttered that out while walking.

“What were you referring to?”

After I enquired him on that, Witige-san narrow his eye, which was already quite narrow in the first place, and answered me.

I am his grandchild was it… I am quite happy since he had that thought. Even though I had a non-blood related father and a mother but as a matter of fact, I haven’t met my grandfather nor my grandmother yet.

“Seriously… I really desired a thoughtful grandchild like you, Sei-dono.”

“!?”

It was a desire… after all!?

“Ha ha… let stop it with that joke on desiring.”

“Ho ho, this was not necessary a joke. What’s your thought, Sei-dono? Let test it out, how about you pretend to be my grandchild right now? Will you please grant the hopeless desire of this old man?”

De… desire…!? That’s not good… you mustn’t have that thought!!  The thought of wanting me, to be overcome by your own greed, you mustn’t have that… thought!!

“I’m… I’m sorry, Witige-san, something emergency came out so…”

“? Ah, since that’s the case, I don’t mind if you stop here.”

“I’m sorry… I had originally plan to escort you back to your room but.”

“It fine, there was nothing for you to worry about. I am quite happy that you had accompany this senile old man, which does not have much time left, until here. As the time for a youngster to remain young was quite precious.”

Witige-san nodded his head while saying that kindly as if he was persuading me. That was great… as he willing to give up on this without putting a fight. It seem like there was no need for me to worry about this. Since it had ended like this, it doesn’t seem like his sudden desire was caused by my curse at all,

“By the way, Sei-dono. About that emergency— when will you be done with that?”

“…eh…?”

The moment I gave out a sigh of relief—my thought was interrupted by the question that Witige asked me with his hoarse voice. Witige-san continue further as he saw that I was petrified and didn’t answer him.

“I want a grandchild like Sei-dono. This was the truth. I desire you, Sei-dono, it fine even if you were not my grandchild. I beg of you, Sei-dono…please, please be mine…”

“…I, hate it!!”

The two embracing arm. The blood red cold eye. I gave out a shout unintentionally by the dreadful figure, which was similar to a deceased, that was approaching me. After hearing that scream, Witige-san gasped for breath as if he had regain his consciousness.

“Hm… what had I done. To think that I had made such a reckless urge…. Please forget this as it seem that I had shown an unsightly part of me.”

Witige-san made a profound bow.

This was wrong… it was not you who should apologize, Witige-san. The reason that caused him to act this way… was surely me.

“I’m sorry…! I sorry…!”

After saying sorry, I immediately escape toward the front of Witige-san. I am sure that he will not have any more influence than this if I kept my distance from him.

That right—it will be the same as always. As long as I don’t get close to him anymore.

After that I continue with my plan jogging… which I am unable to do, I locked myself in my room and look at my hoof.

Normally, this was the time for me to have my breakfast at the big canteen. Somehow, I do not feel like going out. Just a bit more… just a bit more, I will just wait for time to pass.

“Fuu… Is it about time for the Einherjars to finish their breakfast?”

Ten minutes later, I got up from my bed with a sluggish movement while muttering that.

If they had finish with their breakfast, I’m sure that they were heading to the practice field to start their training. There should not be any person at the big canteen at this time frame, so I can be at ease and enjoy my…break…

“… What do you meant by at ease, me…”

Even though I had plan to act normally but… to think that I was unable to do that this fast. I will hesitate involuntarily when I entered a place where there was a lot of human.

“Damn… this doesn’t seem good. Remain calm, remain calm.”

It alright. There still chance to overcome this. I will not lose to the curse of the ring at all.

After stepping out of my room, I headed toward the big canteen. After I saw the morning shift senior wiping the messy table that was caused by the Einherjars, I call out to the Chef Head in the kitchen.

“Good morning, Chef Head.”

“Oh, good morning, Sei-kun! Were you fine now?”

“Well, thanks for your concern. Um… I want to have my breakfast, so was there any leftover?”

“Huh… did something happened. We might only some leftover after the Einherjars took a bite of it. Hm… let see, ah, the veggie sandwich. We also had Caesar salad and the cabbage Chou croute.”

“It seem that they did a good job in leaving veggie only…”

It seem that most of the Einherjars were really carnivorous. Well, this might be the side effect of the ‘ratatouille punishment’.  

“Ah, we still had the bread for Crostini and the pork Rillettes. Since this was the case, I had hidden some Fromage for titbit at the back but… if you were fine with it, want to have some together?”

While saying that, the Chef Head made a posture as if he was gulping down a drink. Of course, it will be non-alcohol as I am still a minor. But the mead is a special exception.

“Of course, I will accompany you as it feel great to treat yourself to something from morning.”

“Okay!”

Immediately after that, the Chief Head began preparation for the breakfast. Since I had worked for a long time as a kitchen staff, it was an easy feat for me to prepare some simple snack. While the Chef Head was slicing the Fromage, I turned into my human form to prepare the salad and toast.

“I’m quite surprised, Sei-kun, it seem you had become quite skilled. Let’s help ourselves to it before someone disturb us.”

“Yes! Here I go!”

Yup, it delicious! I thought that it was just a shabby leftover but it was quite a grand breakfast in the end. I should gave my thanks to the veggie hater, muscle brain warrior.

“Actually, I am only able to experience it at time like these. That it was really a good thing that you were not fired from the ‘Valhalla Kitchen’. But I was quite frustrated that I had lose.”

“Ah~, was this about the previous cooking battle?”

“Yes. To be honest… I had always desire it. For an outstanding talent like you.”

“!?

Desire… always? Hold it, did the Chef Head… said that just now…!?

“I am sure you had the talent to be a cook. If it was you, I am able to be at ease and entrust my teachings to you. Hey, Sei-kun, will you be my disciple… Sei-kun? Why did you stood up so sudden?”

“I’m sorry, Chef Head… I suddenly remember… that I was entrusted with a task.”

“Hm… was that so. There was no helping it if you sudden remember about it but will you be fine if you leave now?”

“Yes, probably… Um… the breakfast was quite delicious. I will take my leave,”

“Ah, hold it for a moment. Before you go… can I hear your answer first?”

From my back, Chef Head called out to me with his awfully inhuman voice to stop me who was plan to leave right away. Chef Head enquire this while I turn around in a frightful way.

“I sure you are fine with the present but… will you become? My disciple. I want to hear your answer for this right away.”

“Of… of course, I will…”

“Oh! That’s great! Then, from now on you are my disciple in name and in reality. I sure you don’t had any another master right? In another word… you are my only disciple.”

“!!”

My fur stood up as I felt a terrifying presence. While ignoring my current condition, the Chef Head continue on happily.

“Hey, Sei-kun. If it fine with you, it will help you with your entrusted task. Come on, don’t be so modest. Since I am your master after all, I will not let you out of my sight even for a moment. That was because I can’t stand it if you were taken by others during that moment.”

“No, it really was fine.”

“I won’t allow it!!  …I’m sorry but I can’t let you leave without me. So, let us go together, Sei-kun. Okay?”

“Didn’t I said that it was fine!!”

I ended up raising my voice as he was too persistent.  After hearing my angry voice, the Chef Head showed a surprise and bewilder face and said.

“Huh… how odd. Why am I clinging on you this tight? I sorry for being persistent, Sei-kun, I’m really sorry…”

“That… wait… this not it. The one at fault… was all me…”  

It was hard to look at Chef Head appearance who apology to me with his hat down. As I was unable to hold back this feeling, I ran out of the big canteen like a runaway rabbit.

“What was it… what going on! I don’t want to see Chef Head acting like that but…”

I had determine that I will have a normal life but— it seem like it might be much harder than I thought….

The place that I arrived after running away from Chef Head was in front of Heizu milking room.

It not like I came here purposely but… what will happen? Can I… act as usual in front of Heizu? I am sure that Heizu will act as usual though…

“Hey Heizu— huh? She not here…”

I didn’t plan to look as I just plan to have a peek. But when I try to knock with my hoof, I ended up looking at the inside through the small gap and was able to confirm that she was not around. I felt disappointed at myself who was glad at this situation.

“Since Heizu was not around… then let try and meet Ikusu at the same time.”

Anyway, I want to look for someone that I am able to have a normal conversation. So, I had no choice but to try it out. After I pass through the milking room, I walk toward the big farm at the inner part.

Then, I saw an unexpected scenery there.

“Gigantic Spiritual Rainbow Shower!”

Ikusu make numerous small rainbow in the blue sky by splashing a large amount of water from her antler.

“Oh… it beautiful. Iku-tan, you were amazing.”

The one who clapped her hand after seeing Ikusu street like performance was Heizu who was in her human form. I see, the reason why she was not in her room was because she had come here.

“Yo, the two of you. It seem you were enjoying yourselves.”

“Ah, it was Se-tan.”  

I just approach them while pretending to be normal. Then, while remain in her sitting position, Heizu turned her head toward me and greet in an apology way. On the other hand, Ikusu dash toward me in a hurry and gave me a powerful hug after transforming to her human form.

“Yo, Oshishou-sama!! I had wanted to meet you, okay~? Since it seem that Oshishou-sama had not came to ‘Valhalla’ for quite some time… I hope you can drop by sometime!”

Ho…hope… no, this sound a bit different from the desire toward me. Sigh, it seem that I am being too sensitive toward this. It would be bad if that become a habit…

“Ha ha, please forgive me, Ikusu. I was quite busy with Mardoll-sama as something had happen. I would like to thank you… for being my replacement in becoming everyone dinner at that time.”  

“Ah! I feel so happy that you thank me!! But there was no need for you to thank me at all! As I declared previously, I am a masochist, so I am quite happy in doing this!”

After saying that boldly and letting me go, Ikusu put both her hand at her waist and reclined. It… it true if she put it that way… I should not concern about it as the main person had told me not to.

“… Hey, Se-tan… did something happen.”

“Eh…?”

At that moment— after saying something out of the blue, Heizu somehow managed to look through the heart of this matter. As I was surprised by this, I immediately try to avoid this subject.

“It… it not like anything had happened… ha ha, what do you had that though?”

“Somehow… it seem like you were being a bit over caution. That was why I was able to figure it out. That was because Heizu had always look at the open Se-tan.”

That… that was odd, was I this open for this whole time? I thought that I had a full-proof poker face though.

But—that was right. It exactly as what Heizu had said, I am indeed being caution right now. Not only against Heizu and Ikusu… I am being caution toward everyone in the world.

“Se-tan. Heizu was not that smart and also not good at speaking. That why, Heizu’s ears were always ready to hear the voice that can’t be heard. If you had something troubling you… can you tell Heizu about it?”

“Eh, huh? Oshishou-sama, do you had something you were worry about? I am sure that I am at least able to listen to your worry! I hope you can discussed it with us as we can only do the hearing.”

“! … thank you… both of you…!”

I felt like I was save by the both of their kindness through their warm words.

There was no need to hide it right? Okay, let me reveal it here.

I don’t want to rely on them but… it would be best to rely on other at time like this. I was able to make it this far as I always have everyone who was able to lead me to the answer if I were to ask.

That why this time also—

“That gratitude sound so reserved. Se-tan had already become a crucial person in ‘Valhalla’. Se-tan belong to everyone. He had become an existence that no one can let go of.”

…what… Hold it, Heizu, that…!

“That right! But as his number one disciple, Oshishou-sama is my only Oshishou-sama! I will not let go of this~! I had already keep him to myself for a long time!”

“…Ah…um…”

I can’t believe this… even Ikusu…

I… belong to everyone…? An existence that no one can let go of? Things like not let go of this… and keep him to myself, those…

“What were you talking about? Iku-tan. I will not ley you keep him to yourself. Se-tan belong to everyone. One day, he will belong to Heizu only… okay.”

“Huh? I am unable to ignore that, Heizu-san. Oshishou-sama only disciple was me. In another words, I am the only special existence for Oshishou-sama. Wasn’t that right? Oshishou-sama.”

Stop it… just stop it! Don’t said that I belong to you or you will keep me to yourself!

That was because…—I am capable to kill both of them whenever I want!

“Huh, Oshishou-sama!? Where were you going all of a sudden!?”

“Hm… I don’t know. But… it seem like he was in pain…”

After I realized that, I immediately faced my back toward them and escape from the farm immediately.

I am really sorry… but I am also scared. To be honest… I was able to hear it for a while already.

—All the greedy person, the endless misfortune—

I wonder if this voice was my true intention. Or was it a resentment from Andvari. I was no longer able to differentiate between them.

But… every time I heard that creepy voice, it seem like some black sediment was trying to crawl out of my body. Then, it will creep toward my treasure people and… strangle them.

That despicable illusion… I was able to see it quite clear.

As I was being absorbed in running, it seem that I went through the ‘rainbow void’ of the world tree while having the thoughts of going as far as possible.

This was my first time being teleport without having a place in mind. In order to find out where I was teleported to, I took a deep breathe to calm myself and begin to observe at my surrounding.

“!! This… isn’t this… Brynhildr-sama room!”

I had forgotten to breathe as I was surprised by this and it cause me to cough violently. I can’t believe that I am an effeminate boar. While being depressed, I had unconsciously thought of wanting to be pampered by my beloved…

“But it seem that… Brynhildr-sama was not in her room.”

I stepped out of the room while giving out a complicated sigh that was mixed with both the feeling of relief and regret of not unable to see her. At that moment, a shout of astonishment came from the side of me.

“Huh, Sei-kun! Why were you coming out of Onee-chan room?”

“What was this? During this time, Hildr-nee should be absent as she was away on her mission… Sei-shi, were you on a sneaking mission from this early morning? I want you to show me your victory loot.”

“Wait, hold it! I don’t remembered that I had undertaken that mission and I didn’t stole anything!”

Come on, it seem that Ortlinde-sama was the same as always. I am a gentleman, okay? I will never do that perverted act outside of my imagination at all!

“Linde-onee-chan, what do you meant by sneaking mission? How does a person obtain the victory loot?”

“Ah—… it mean infiltration mission… well, it something like a cat burglar. Listen properly. Rossweisse, you must never become one okay?”

“Okay! I will never become one since a cat burglar was not something good! Sei-kun, it also not good for to become one okay? If you wanted to become one, then you should come to my room as I will prepare the victory loot properly.”

“Ha ha, I will if the opportunity arise…”

It seem that Weisse was not able to comprehend it, despite of that, she had said some bold statement. Once again I had realized that there was only a thin line between pure and chaos…

“Huh~? Pork-chan, you’re here. Was there any chance that you were interested with our previous discussion~”

After hearing our noisy voice, the fourth sister, Waltraute-sama came down from the third floor. Unlike Ortlinde-sama who just came back from her mission, it seem that Waltraute-sama was off duty.

“Waltraute-sama. If it was regarding the bra and panties, I’m sure that we had gone through it already.”

“A~h, that’s right… what a pity~”

Yup, I’m also feel the same way. If we didn’t any encountered any error and accepted it, I am sure that I had become a complete set of Waltraute-sama undergarment at this moment…

“What? Hold it, what’s with this, to think that Sei had come. It was the correct move since I was able to finish my mission quickly by taking Gerhi-nee-san challenge. …By the way, Sei, putting aside the grimoire that I mentioned previously, I actually had a magic item that I wanted you to transform right away but”

“Wah!? Si…Siegrune-sama, you too close!”

This time, I was carry by Siegrune-sama, who appear all of a sudden, and she got close to my face. After I had pointed that out, she screamed and tossed me. Then, I made a touchdown after drawing a parabola while obeying the law of gravity.  Despite of that, instead of the hard ground, I landed on someone arms.

“Okay, I had got it! To think that I managed to get Sei when I skipped my task once in a while!”

“No, I sure that you always skipped your job!”

I had no idea what do you meant by once in a while, Helmwige-sama. It impossible for a truant heaven-sent child to be capable of manipulating the information.

Come on… I wonder how long will this situation goes on. Ever since I transformed into Brynhildr-sama sacred weapon, I had suddenly become very popular among the Valkyries. On top of that, since I had demonstrated that I was able to transform into Brisingamen, Freya-sama had participate in this tug of war…

The flirting plan that I came up with to obtain the tail feather of that perverted rooster, Gullinkambi had become a reality without any effort needed. I am sure the me at that time didn’t believe that it will come true.

But—putting aside my hidden desire, I am quite happy that I am having these dialogue.

Even though it was quite depressing from this morning but it seem that I was finally able to enjoy my daily life. It seem that the Valkyrie had always helped me whenever I was facing any difficulties.

“…Hold it. What do you meant by you had got it, Wige-nee-san? Let me be frank here, Sei belong to me. So please return him to right away.”

“Hu~h? I can’t ignore that, Siegrune. When did Sei belong to you? I will use him in a wise way so you should just observe while remaining silent.”

Huh… what… it seem that thing doesn’t look that good now. If this continue…

“Both of you, that is not good, okay~? Even though Onee-san was trying her best to hold it but I will not let you to hog him all by yourself.”

“That… that’s right! In the first place, Sei-kun was not an object, so it a bit rude if you treated him as one! Thus, I will never hand him over to all of you who was having that thought!”  

While lecturing both of her sisters, Weisse snatched me from Helmwige-sama hand.

Wait… hold it Weisse, I appreciate your feeling but this…

“Hm… were you trying to hog him while acting like a good girl? I am proud of having a well-mannered younger sister but don’t you think that you had overdone it this time?”

“I never expected that I would heard this from Rossweisse but… it seem like I am unable to let my guards down at all. Hand him over, Rossweisse. I am sure you were aware of it right? That my lullaby… was not that soft at all.”

In that moment—the surrounding atmosphere was getting heavier. Then, I saw Helmwige-sama holding a giant hammer.

“Oh? This had become quite interesting. We, sisters are prohibited to kill each other for serious but… it seem that you weren’t able to suppress your killing intent once you took out your sacred weapon.”

“…hey, four of you, please stop it. I beg of you… can you please don’t make Onee-san angry?”

Inclusive of the two person who was outside of the conversation, everyone was preparing for the battle. While holding each of their weapon, they stood at a suitable distance between their opponents.

Hold it, this… is this… not a joke? Were all five of them plan to fight for serious? In the first place… will this matter be solve by fighting…?

No… that was not it. This was all wrong. That was because there was no way that the friendly Valkyries sister will point their weapon at each other for such a foolish reason.

I am pretty sure that this meaningless battle—was started due to my curse.

“I… om the second thought, I shouldn’t be here at all!!”

“Ah, Sei-kun!?”

After I escape from Weisse arm, I dash out of the Valkyrie form ‘Vingólf’ with all I got.

I felt the obvious strong killing intent started to become weaker as I increase my distance between them. That was right, these ridiculous fight can be avoided as long as I am not around. I must not let a fight to occur due to my selfishness.

I had finally realized it. I am able to comprehend it now. That I don’t have a place to return to. I – must be alone no matter what.

“Everyone… thank you for everything…— and goodbye.”

The feeling that was holed up in me up until now had finally become tears as it flow out of my two eyes.

I dragged my leg and walked in a nearly tripped way while thinking about this.

That if I had to endure this sadness… then it would had been better that I remain as a ring instead.

It would have been better… if Saehrimnir didn’t exist at the first place—

 After that—I continue to loiter in ‘Asgard’ as I felt that I am suffocating no matter where I am.

“Brynhildr-sama… Loki… I’m sorry. It seem that I was unable beat my curse after all.”

I don’t even know what both of them are doing now. Even if I knew, I can’t ask them for help. I can’t get close to my dearest person… as this was how the curse function.

I wonder how long has it been since I started loitering. After I realized about it, the sky was dyed with scarlet red and I saw a huge rainbow in front of me.

“This was…’Bifröst’ wasn’t it.”

The rainbow bridge, ‘Bifröst’ that connect the god realm with the human realm. I see… since this was located at the most southern part of ‘Asgard’, it seem that I had keep walking toward the south.

The most southern part of ‘Asgard’. I stood near the borderline and looked down.

“If I was able to die by jumping down… I will not hesitate to jump. Ha ha, it pointless. If I were to do that, I will just be revived back no matter what.”

That right, it certain that I will revived. The true identity of my ‘Gullveig’ was not a convenient ability that allow me to become dinner every night. It a curse ability that will killed it target even if it had die.

As I am unable to die… I had no choice but to remain alone forever…

“Hey.”

“! Who… who were you!?”

At the peak of my despair, I turned around as I was called out by a threatening voice. Once I do that, the one who stood there was the watchman of ‘Bifröst’, Heimdallr-sama.

“So, it was the boar. Judging from that soot brown fur, you are Saehrimnir right?”

“That’s right but… please don’t surprise me like that, where did you pop up from?”

For god sake, why did he appear out of nowhere for today? I once saw him coming from the opposite direction of the bush he was hiding in but… if that was the case, it mean that his house ‘Himinbjorg’ was in the direction.

Was there any chance that this person… instead of being incapable of thinking, he just choose to not to think at all.

After saying that, Heimdallr-sama lifted me up from my side and placed me toward the north. Even though my body become stiff as I was being touched, Heimdallr-sama put me down on the ground even the slightest greed.

So—I started to dash forward after I made my decision.

I might be a hindrance to everyone. I might cause problems that cannot be undone. But… still. That was the place that I belong to.

Thus, I continue dashing in that manner for around three hours. Then, my vision was faintly fill by the light that came from the visible ‘Valhalla’ building.

I not sure how he knew that I had run away from ‘Valhalla’ as the Chef Head was searching for me in a worry state. I was able to saw Heizu appearance who was beside of him.

“Se-tan… he was trying to run away as if he wanted to make himself disappear when he was in front of Heizu. He was being extremely unfriendly. It just like he… does not plan to return to ‘Valhalla’.”

After sensing that from my manner of speech, the one who became worry and informed the others right away was Heizu. It seem that she really would not overlook any slightest change in me.

Putting that aside, I am aware that the last person meant no harm but… I am quite happy for this. Everyone was considering about me, worrying about me as… they continue to call out for me.

They might be doing this and that because their greed was increased by the curse of the ring. But… even if that was the case, I still want to be together with everyone else. I will return to ‘Valhalla’… where all my precious friend were at!

I took a step out from the bush that I was hiding in.

…huh, what happen? Sei. Move further. You won’t be able to reach everyone if you only took one step.

Don’t hesitate. Don’t be scared. You need to go over there… where everyone was waiting. But…

I had make up my mind. I had firmed my decision. Despite of that… my body would not move.

—if I were to join that circle, I am sure that everything will be lose—. My thoughts alone was not enough as fear had stole the freedom from my body. In the end, there was one obstacle… that I was unable to overcome.

Despite being this close… despite calling out for them… it was unable to reach them.

In that moment— the kind warmness surrounded my body that was frozen by despair.

While saying that, Brynhildr-sama put a little more strength in her arm that was hugging me.

Brynhildr-sama apology reached my chest.

After hearing that, the silence from everyone had stain the world.

After saying that reliable statement, Brynhildr-sama headed toward ‘Valhalla’ while carrying me.

Then, the smiling Loki, with a bit tears in his eye, was there. But… behind of him was the appearance of Odin-sama who was shrouded by the grim spirit.

Odin-sama said this. While piercing my heart with his deep voice which was like a distant lighting and the cold single eye.

“…I had heard everything from Loki. I was surprised, Sei. To think that your true identity was… a curse weapon that was send to ‘Asgard’ just to kill me.”

After hearing to Odin-sama, a commotion was caused by those who were not aware of this fact. But the commotion stopped right immediately after Odin-sama raise one of his hand.

“The method to avoid ‘Ragnarok’… that was my task. Do you understand the meaning for that? Boar.”

While asking me his true intention, Odin-sama took out his God Spear, Gungnir out of nowhere. The tip of the spear was fixated quietly between my eye brows.

“I will eliminate any threat, no matter how small was it, that desired my ‘death’. Without the cleverness, it was impossible to become a Chief God. No matter what others thought was.”

“! Hey… that was not what you promised, brother! Stop it…!”

Loki jumped out as it didn’t go according to his plan. But before that the spear had already— stopped right in front of my eye.

“Calm down. I won’t punish Sei.”

Odin-sama face had returned to normal. Um… that means…

“There was no crime and punishment. As it was an undeniable fact that Sei revival ability had help us for numerous time during the critical time.  Moreover, it will be a trouble if I am unable to rely on your ability in the future. That’s why… I will break your curse. With all my force.”

After Odin-sama said that, with a single swing, the glory tip of his spear pierce through the sky.

“I, the Chief God, Odin hereby order all the resident of ‘Asgard’! The one that create the ring and placed the curse that killed it owner on it, the Dwarf,—”

When the spear was lifted downward, the end of the spear had caused the ground to rumble.

In this moment… the God realm, ‘Asgard’ had become one by the sacred declaration.
