Hearing the word dating, the other three looked at Mr. Wen only to get the confirmation of what doubt they had in mind.
"Lu Lijun and Liwei?" Mr. Wen asked Lu Jinhai and looked at his daughter, who sank back on the sofa.
"Yes," Lu Jinhai confirmed.
"I see. I'll call you later," Mr. Wen hung up the call only to talk to his daughter, who herself was shocked, guessing what his father talked about on the call.
"Are you two dating?" Mr. Wen asked.
"Dating who?" she asked.
"Lu Lijun told his father that you two are dating," Mr. Wen added.
"Did he?" Wen Zac asked.
"Yes, and this girl didn't even tell me when I've been worried since the morning seeing the news," Mr. Wen frowned.
It startled Liwei, "Father.. I…" she didn't know what to say. Moreover, it confused her to think why Lu Lijun did it.
"What?" Mr. Wen asked.
"I'm sorry," she didn't clarify what Lu Lijun said; she was not even aware of it.
Mr. Wen calmed down, seeing Liwei nervous, "I can understand you must have felt embarrassed to tell me about it."
"Huh?...hmm," Liwei would only agree to it and thought to talk to Lu Lijun to ask what was going on.
Mr. Wen left while Wen Zac sat with his sister.
"What's going on?" Wen Zac asked.
"Even I don't know," she replied honestly.
"So, you two are not dating?" he concluded.
"Brother, I need to talk to him. But till then, please don't say anything to father," she pleaded.
Wen Zac agreed, "Clear it soon."
She nodded, intending to meet Lu Lijun. Just as she was about to go to her room, her cellphone rang.
Seeing Lu Lijun's name surprised her as he never called her this early morning.
Wen Zac stood up and instructed, "Talk to him," and left.
This time while receiving Lu Lijun's call, she felt her heart beat faster and felt anxious. Since the day they met, this man surprised her with something new, and she didn't know she should feel happy or worried as it was difficult to guess what went in his mind.
Suddenly agreeing to meet her, asking her to come to the cafe, getting her help to select the gift for his grandma, then calling out of the blue to attend the wedding with him.
She received the call only to hear the instruction from him, "Be ready in the evening."
"For what?" she asked.
"We are going somewhere?" he informed.
"Where?"
"You will know when we go there."
She looked around and asked in a low voice, "Not anything like the previous night's wedding."
"Don't worry," he assured.
She wanted to ask him about dating things right there but talking in person was a better option, so she agreed.

Noah, who was ready to go to the office, read the news too and frowned, "So this was the gift he talked about."
Noah understood what gift Lu Lijun planned for Jiang Yuyan.
"This guy only wants to trouble the lady," Noah mumbled.
Jake, who came out of the room, ready to go to the office, heard Noah and asked, "What happened?"
Noah passed him the tablet, "Our friend is the hot topic everywhere."
It surprised Jake as much as it surprised Noah, "What's this?"
"Exactly what you are reading," Noah answered.
"Is he serious?" Jake asked in disbelief.
"Hmm, serious about creating trouble for president Lu," Noah answered.
"This guy!" Jake frowned.
"I'll talk to him in the office," Noah assured.
"I'll be joining you two for lunch," Jake informed.
"Then we can talk at that time," Noah suggested, and the two left.

In Jiang Yuyan's office…
Jiang Yuyan went through a few files and talked to Xiao Min, who stood there to get his boss's instruction.
Jiang Yuyan finished all the files and instructed, "Pass all these to Lu Lijun and ask him to finish it all in a week."
"Boss, In a week? Wouldn't it be…."
"He has too much spare time in his hands these days," Jiang Yuyan interrupted Xiao Min.
"Yes, boss." Xiao Min picked up the files.
"The new project we are getting, make him handle them all," Jiang Yuyan instructed again.
"Yes, boss."
"Do we have any foreign business meetings planned anytime soon?" Jiang Yuyan asked.
Xiao Min nodded, "There is."
"Lu Lijun would be the one to lead it," she informed, and Xiao Min understood what his boss was trying to do.
She needed to keep him busy for long till he got the president's place and not give him spare time to create trouble that would affect his future.

Xiao Min took the pile of files to Lu LIjun's office.
Lu Lijun looked at him and the files and understood what it was for.
Xiao Min kept the files on the table and informed, "This has to be done in a week."
Lu Lijun smirked and spoke sarcastically, "A week? I thought, I might get only a day or two."
Xiao Min had nothing to say. He bowed and left.
Noah came to his office to work with Lu Lijun and saw the pile of files on Lu Lijun's table.
He went through the files, and Lu Lijun commented, "Don't be surprised. It's President's Lu's way to keep me busy."
"Surprised? Here I only see that my stubborn and nowadays idiotic friend had left no other way for President Lu," Noah commented.
Lu Lijun smirked lightly and mumbled, "As long as I'm the only one in her mind. It's fine even if in the form of trouble."
"What did you say?" Noah asked.
"Let's start working," said Lu Lijun, and Noah glared at him.
Noah was sure his friend was happy for some reason instead of getting annoyed over giving him too much work.
Just as Noah sat to work, Lu Lijun spoke, "Be ready to lead all the new projects with me as days are going to be busy."
"As if I'm scared of working more. More work, the better thing for me," Noah added.
"Seems like you want to spend your nights in the office," Lu Lijun commented.
"I would love to."
"Don't worry, Jake will follow you...I mean, he will follow us here in my office."
Noah glared at Lu Lijun, "Do you want me to comment something about you too that you wouldn't want to hear?"
Lu Lijun cleared his throat, "Let's work. I hope you don't want to disappoint president Lu."
"Talking for yourself," Noah commented, and Lu Lijun ignored it, starting to focus on work.
