Though Flora’s father, Henry, was a supposed oil tycoon, he was truly involved in the trade of smuggling drugs and money laundering . His dealings were all over Southeast Asia and his influence was also unrivaled . The Interpol had even formed a task force to investigate his doings for decades but they’ve never even had the chance to nab him .

This Henry was extremely loaded and had many connections too . He had great influence in both the underworld and the police force, he wasn’t someone to be easily provoked .

Lu Yan smoked a puff of his cigarette and hugged Flora, squeezing her butt . “If this goes well, then you’re indeed my lucky star . I’ll make sure to pleasure you in bed, hm?”

“You’re so annoying . ” Flora whined and she couldn’t help but feel attracted to a bad boy like him . “Master Yan, is it only because I am my Daddy’s daughter that you’re flirting with me? Do you like me for who I am?”

Lu Yan narrowed his eyes and took in a puff of smoke again . “How do I put this, I want both, the money and the woman . ”

Flora could feel herself falling for this man even more, she couldn’t help but be enchanted by his flirtatious ways .

She actually had a whole line of men wooing her but she chose Lu Yan out of all them . He treated her well and bought her anything she wanted . However, he seemed to have kept a safe distance away from her, he didn’t show her his true self . This man was difficult to read, she couldn’t tell his true thoughts .

No one knew this man’s true thoughts . He had entered the underworld since he was a teen and was involved in the bloodiest fights ever . He had played around with his power and of course, many women and he didn’t seem to have involved his emotions in any of them .

Flora didn’t mind that fact that he was interested in her only for her identity . In her eyes, it is only right for men to not want to settle down and be ambitious . If Lu Yan were to be successful in negotiating a collaboration with her Daddy, he would definitely attain an abundance of wealth and power .

“Master Yan, please just accompany me tonight . ” Flora continued pestering Lu Yan .

Lu Yan slowly retracted his arm, giving her a spurious smile . “Be good and return to your presidential suite first . You should have a shower and make yourself smell good before you join the queue . When your Daddy arrives, you’ll have a chance to enjoy . ”

Flora pouted her red lips, she didn’t have any other ways left . She could only alight from the car and enter the hotel unwillingly .

Lu Yan watched as Flora entered the hotel before he retracted his gaze, not having much of an expression on his face . He knitted his brows and finished smoking the cigarette .

The neon lights in the city reflected on the windows and illuminated his handsome face . He stubbed out the cigarette in the ashtray and got in his Maybach, driving away .

The Maybach sped along the streets and 10 minutes later, he parked in front of the entrance of A University .

It was already ten o’clock at night . The campus was locked up and there wasn’t any students entering or even exiting campus anymore .

He stopped the engine and pushed the driver’s seat all the way down, using his arms as pillows and closed his eyes .

Under his knit sweater, his muscles were bulging and he was filled with masculinity . He had an outstanding physique, with a muscular chest, defined eight packs and abs . Any woman would blush after looking at his body, wanting to run their fingers over it .

But it was late at night and he evidently lethargic .

The Gu Corporation’s office .

Tang Mo’er had brought her design with her and rushed over to the Gu Corporation . She was there to attend an interview .

Everyone who signed up for the position had to attend an interview and they would only have the chance to become an interning designer if their design made the cut .

She would have to make good use of this opportunity .

Tang Mo’er was seated outside the interview room with others, and that included Li Fei’fei .

The swelling on Li Fei’fei’s face had already subsided, she glared at Tang Mo’er when she noticed that Tang Mo’er was also there for the interview . But Li Fei’fei seemed to do it with restraint, seemingly afraid of something and she didn’t dare to utter a word .

Footsteps could be heard, someone shouted excitedly, “Hurry and look over, President Gu is here!”

He was clad in a navy blue, striped suit . He paired it with an immaculate white shirt inside, finishing off the look with a black tie . He sauntered into the room, emanating an arrogant and charismatic aura .

He was followed by his secretary, Yan Dong and a few higher-ups . They were all on the interview panel .

Tang Mo’er looked at Gu Mohan, her lustrous eyes instantly turned watery . She hadn’t seen him in two days and she really missed him .

He was rocking a preppy look today, the Capital’s wealthiest businessman was especially charming . He had totally pulled it off with ease .

“Wow, Professor Gu is really handsome today, my heart is going pitter-patter already . ”

“That’s right, Professor Gu is even going to interview us personally later on . I’m really nervous . ”…

Mr Gu was going to conduct the interviews personally today?

Tang Mo’er was also very nervous . She looked at her design, it was her first piece of work ever .

She wondered if he would be satisfied with it .

Gu Mohan had brought his men with him and walked over, their eyes met .

She wore a pair of slim pants below and it enwrapped her long, slender legs . She completed the look with a pair of casual, white sneakers that made her appear even more youthful and attractive .

Gu Mohan had noticed that the male interviewees were all distracted, their gazes fixated on Tang Mo’er .

He sneered .  She’s indeed great at seducing men .

He took a brief look at her personable smile and facial features before looking away and entering the room .

Mr Gu had left .

He had passed by her and gave her a cold-eyed stare .

Tang Mo’er couldn’t help but freeze, her smile fading away . She didn’t know for what reason, but she felt him being particularly cold towards her today .

He had sped away in his Rolls-Royce Phantom that night outside the bar . She had even chased after him, he should have seen her but he must have chosen to ignore her .

Similarly, he was ignoring her existence again today .

He seemed to repulsive towards her and was pushing her miles away .

She was rebuked despite being open with her feelings towards him . Tang Mo’er could only lower her head, pouting her lips, not knowing what she had done that was so wrong .

What had happened between them? That day in the clinic, he hadn’t been so cold . What had changed?

“Is Miss Tang Mo’er here? It’s your turn now . ” A clerk appeared in front of the door and started calling her name .

Tang Mo’er quickly stood up, responding, “Hello, I am Tang Mo’er . ”

“Miss Tang, this way please . ”

Tang Mo’er walked into the interview room clutching her design .
