A castle town that began to be built as a city of Barca.

After completing the construction of the building inside the exterior wall, we decided to proceed to another task.

It was a renovation of the wall itself.

When I built the castle in Kawakita, I also renovated the wall that I created with Wall Architecture .

That's because I developed Wall Architecture , which can prevent a giant pig from rushing in, but is not suitable for defending human army attacks.

Simply a thick wall would quickly break through in a castle attack.

That's why we really needed to get to the wall.

If it was true, I wanted to change all the outer walls to hardened brick walls.

But everything is too far from the wall.

Currently, the walls that can be made with the spell "wall architecture" are made of regular bricks, and I can only make them with hardened bricks without relying on spells.

Then everything was too inefficient.

So we decided to keep to the task of renovating some of the walls that we already have.

In the castle in the north of the river, a tower higher than the wall was erected on the four corners of the wall surrounded by a circular and lowly shape.

It also meant being able to spot enemies farther away quickly, and I wanted to create an entrance to get out of the tower and onto the wall.

I will build the tower in this Balkan city.

However, the castle in Kawakita was originally built by reusing the position where 100 people were staying and was not so big.

I think the defense is quite good thanks to the water excavation, but it is a fortress with hundreds of troops at the most, or it feels like leaving the castle.

As big as that, it was good to have just four corners to build a tower.

However, the city of Barca is much wider than the castle in Kawakita.

We can't just build a tower in four corners.

So I decided to increase the number of towers I installed on the outer wall.

Place towers of exactly the same structure at regular intervals as when you built the castle town.

About every 200 meters, a tower is added to the wall.

I did this work alone.

In the meantime, I decided to have other empty people do the renovation on the wall.

Since the upper part of the wall made of Wall Architecture is flat, use hardened bricks made by people with a Vulcan surname to make a wall that hides the body to prevent bows and arrows and magic.

I only built this castle in Kawakita before, so I took the trouble to leave it to Grant, my part-time brother, Vargas, etc., without taking command.

By the way, I think the main weapon we use to defend ourselves now is to drop bricks from the walls.

Of course, you can use attack magic such as Shotgun and Ice Spear , but there are limits to human magic.

In that regard, bricks can be made and stored from normal times.

The idea is to leave the bricks on the wall and in the room in the tower.

Of course, some people use bows, but they will depend on the amount of bricks for now.

Either way, we need to increase the number of bows and other weapons so that we can have a decent defense.

When I thought of a way to drop this brick off the wall and damage the invading army, Gran was renovating the castle in Kawakita so that he could make a proper barrier for it.

A wall designed to make it easier to pour bricks and bows from the top down of the walls, but less likely to hit from the bottom.

It looks like a window that just slipped out of the wall, and there is a gap below to drop things.

While I was building the tower, I had other people refurbish the upper part of the wall.

While even taking the magic healing medicine, when my stomach turns into a chapom chapom, I get a Magic Injection from Valkyrie to replenish my magic, and I renovate the exterior wall.

So, when I finished building the tower that I was in charge of, I also started building the outer moat.

In the castle in the north of the river, a river was flowing in the immediate vicinity, so water was dug.

However, there is no river near the village of Vulka with that amount of water.

So I have no choice but to endure it by just digging empty.

I really like the atmosphere of digging water, but I can't help it.

Dig a borehole about 10 meters deep into the ground just outside the outer wall.

It was decided, however, that the moat would be wider than the castle in Kawakita.

Bridges are then built to connect to the gates between the east, west, south and north of the outer wall.

A jump bridge wide enough for carriages to pass side by side was built and installed with the woodcutters.

Anyone who tries to enter the city will have to pass through this bridge, and if it is necessary, you can raise the bridge to completely enclose the castle.

If you gather and snip those who can use the [Ice Spear] here, even if the enemy comes at you, you'll get a good deal of results.

Thus, Barca was surrounded by walls lined with 30-meter towers, creating a city surrounded by deep moats.

As a result of discussions with everyone else, the new fortress city was named Vulcania and became the center of the Balkan Knight's Landing.
