Chapter 49- Anger

I'm totally tired. I kept hunting the orcs for several hours.

Perhaps, there are more than fifty or so in my Item Box. Naturally, they don't have any heads.

There is no such thing as killing too many orcs.

If I want to kill more, I would have to go even further in it seems.

Now then, this is the result of the Orc massacre.

“Fumu~, this is after more than fifty orcs. As expected, the growth is not as explosive as when I first took down an orc, Maa~ the basic MP stat is steadily increasing which is the main thing, also the skill, Magic Operation is new.”

Lets appraise it quickly.

This is a pretty good skill! The use of magic power while using skills such as Sign Isolation and while using Demon Ripper decreases.

If that's true, then is a pretty good skill.

It's good, but its still Level 1. You can’t expect much from it as of now anyway.

In the meantime, I shall try not use Demon Ripper repeatedly.

Every time I use it, I get exhausted just as quick.

I can use it a few times, which is not a problem. If I need to, there is still my poison knife.

Well, for the time being, let's keep hunting in the forest.

Let me at least reach l=Level 100.

Fortunately, there seems to be more Orcs available for this mission.

“FuFu, i'm going to kill all the Orcs in this forest! Wait up, you pig heads. Aaaaaaaaaaaaa!”

Oops, that was a little to much tension.

I guess its time for me go back, there is still the issue about the Ripper Demon.

“Honestly, if any of my acquaintences had been harmed then I would have gone after the Ripper Demon a long time ago. Since I have already accepted the request, i'll do my best.”

And so, I made up my mind and started to head back to the exit of the forest toward the city.

And at that moment,
“What? Isn't that the Orc King?”

In my line of sight was an Orc King happily eating a Rabitt

Oi oi Grace-san, I thought you said that rare class monsters were hard to come across.

I encountered two of them in two days….. Aren't i lucky! This is a level up oppurtunity!

Coveniently, the Orc has his back open, let's start quickly.

“ Demon Ripper out, Sign Isolation on.”

Alright, preparations are complete. Let's take it down.

I run quickly to the back of the Orc King without him noticing me.

Well, last time, the Orc King did not die all the way until his head was separated from his body and on the ground.

“Bye Bye”

In a single slash, the head of the Orc was seperated from his body and fell to the ground beside my feet.

“Last time, it was quite hard to get rid of him and it took awhile, I can feel the growth from then to now.”

My level increased by three in one go.

Truly, just what you expect from something called an Orc King, the experience efficiency is quite good.

If what Grace-san told me is true, then this could definitely be an unusual situation.

Well, i'll just tell Meru-san or Guren-san about it after I go back to make my report.

I thought these things while I left the place.

A few minutes later, I was able to get out of the forest safely.

“Now then, let's go back to Forxx.”

If I go back right now, then there will still be a little time left before the Ripper Demon comes out.

So, how about eating a meal over at zinnia before heading out to search?

In a few minutes, I was able to safely reach Forxx.

The situation seems to be quite noisy at the gate, let me check with a gatekeeper.

“Excuse me, the city seems to be in quite a chaotic state, did something happen?”
“Ah, its Yuma-sama. It is actually because of the Ripper Demon."

I thought since Guren-san told me that since he was only active at night, I could slowly come back.

“That child who was attacked, Sari-chan. I hope she is ok.”

(ED: *Shakes Fist*)

“I'm sorry, but could you repeat the name of the person who was attacked?”

I wonder if i am making an extremely scary face right now because the gatekeeper seems very scared.

“Ah ah ah. The child of the owner of the inn zinnia, Sari-chan. “

The next moment, I ran through the gate and toward zinnia at full speed.

Damn, why are there so many people over here?

I don’t care if it attracts attention, i jump onto the roof and continue to run.


“Quickly, faster, faster!”

I ran toward zinnia at full speed, since there are no people blocking my path.

I was able to reach zinnia in a matter of seconds.
I ran quickly toward the door and opened it.

“Sari, are you alright!?”

My voice caused everyone’s eyes to fall toward me, that's a lot of people.

And then, Saria-san called out to me.

“Isn’t it Yuma-san? Your back pretty quickly, is everything alright?”
“Leave that for later, is Sari alright? I heard she was attacked by the Ripper Demon!”

“Ah, she was attacked, but apparently another person just passed through the alley she was in, the criminal escaped when she called that man over to help. She is currently safe and is sleeping in the back right now.”

The moment I heard that, my legs gave in and I sat down on the ground with happiness.

That's a relief. It's really a good thing that Sari was able to live.

“ She is hurt pretty badly. Therefore, she is unable to cook for now.”

Injured, you say?

“I'm sorry, Saria-san. But please take me to where Sari is, if she is injured, then my recovery magic can heal her quite a bit.”
“Tru-truly you can!? Then, please go ahead and heal her. She has been depressed about it for quite a while now.“
“Please leave it to me. I will defintely heal her!”

And so, me and Saria-san go to the place where Sari was sleeping.

I opened the door to the room and entered inside when I heard a voice,

“Yu-yuma-san?”

It looks like Sari seems to be awake.

 

“Sari, I heard that you were attacked by the Ripper Demon. I'm really sorry, if only I had returned earlier…..if only i had caught him earlier…..then this wouldn't have happened…..”

That's right, I was naive.

I thought since he only comes out at night, then that meant that he wouldn't come out at any other times.

Because he hasn't involved my people before, I took time to deal with him and the result of my actions led to this…….

“No way, this isn’t Yuma-san's fault. The criminal is the only one at fault! It's alright, I am full of energy. My injuries will heal very quickly.”

Is Sari trying to encourage me?

Does she feel like I would do something reckless and get myself injured?

“Sari, I will cure your injuries now. Is it ok if cast a recovery spell on you right now?
“You, you can heal my injuries! Then, thank you very much!”

“Leave it to me. I will defintely heal you. {Heal}”

I use Heal with all of my MP.
Then, a deep blue light comes out of my palms and encloses Sari completely.
Saria-san watches the scene quietly.
Thank you, Saria-san, for putting your trust in me.
Normally, if you see such a thing happening in front of you, then you would definitely try to stop it.

After a few seconds, the light fell slowly and the appearance of Sari was clearly visible,
“Sari, how is it? Does it hurt anywhere?”

When I said that to Sari, she didn’t move for a second.
The next moment, she started to touch herself everywhere with a *Peta Peta* sound.

“Yuma-san amazing! All my injuries have healed. There is no more pain in my arms and legs! Thank you very much, Yuma-san!”

And then, Sari suddenly hugged me.
The recovery magic seems to have been successful, that’s a relief.

“The wounds seem to have healed, that’s a relief.”
“Yes! With this, I can make Yuma-san dinner today as well.”

Saria-san, who heard what she said, started laughing with tears in her eyes.
She seems to have noticed Saria-san laughing and understood the situation now. Sari gets off me and and becomes completely red faced embarassed. 

“Yuma-san, Im sorry. I became a little too excited….”
“It's alright, it's not a problem at all. Rather, i'm more than welcome for that.”

When I said that, Sari, whose face was red, became an even darker shade of red.

“Fu~ You are totally flirting right in front her parents! Iya~a I understand, ne~! Then Sari, you have some more rest, I will prepare the dinner this time.”
“That’s right. It's better to sleep for a while more even if you say that you have completely healed.”

And so, both Me and Saria-san left the room.
It was pretty cute watching her getting out of bed with a red face and waving at us when we left.

After coming out of the room, Saria-san said,
“Yuma, For the matter of my daughter's injuries, thank you very much.”

And then, she bowed here head toward me.

“No no, Saria-san and Sari have taken care of me quite well. It's only natural that if something happens Saria-san or Sari then I would do my best to help.”

When I said that, Saria-san raised her head.

“Yuma is truly a good person. How about it? Will you marry my daughter and become my son-in-law?”

 (ED: Completely brushes off the approval for marriage, Grr)

“We~ll, that’s a matter for the future. I have a small little matter that I need to take care of, I will be going out of town for a while.”
