Thank you all for buying High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even in Another World!
It’s a story with seven protagonists, so it was something of a challenge to write.
You know, I’ve never had to juggle quite so many characters before. I’ve always respected Minoru Kawakami, but this is the first time I ever realized just how amazing he really is. In the end, though, I feel like the book came together nicely, and I was able to give every member of the cast a chance to shine.
Did you all enjoy it? If you did, be sure to look forward to Volume 2. Prince Akatsuki is going to become God Akatsuki!
Now I’d like to hijack this space for a bit and thank all the people who helped make this book a reality.
First, to my editor, K: Thank you for all the great revisions you made to the manuscript. You never faltered, even when by some inexplicable turn of events the first draft’s 230 pages ballooned to 350.
Next, to Sacraneco, the book’s illustrator: Thank you for all the wonderful art and for putting up with all my nonsense, like when I asked that the cover have a big blue sky and a hazard symbol on it.
And last but not least, I’d like to extend a huge thank-you to all of you lovely people who read the book to its end.
Finally, I’d like to touch on a different work for a moment—Chivalry of a Failed Knight¸ another series I’m publishing with GA Bunko. It’s getting an anime this October! I would be so thrilled if you all checked it out. And if you end up liking it, I would love it if you gave the books a try, too.
