 Chapter 140 - Two faced
 
 The next day, Fii rushed into the detached palace to clean up and was waiting for Lynette when she arrived, sweating and panting, her hair unusually disheveled and looking flustered.

“I’m sorry, Fii-sama! It’s been so long since we’ve seen each other, and yet here you are!”

The first thing to do is to apologize for her rude appearance while exhaling heavily, and then, even earlier, she showed a letter to Fii, spreading it out as if it were a complaint.

Her face is red from lack of acidity and she should be in pain, but the smile on her face is supreme. She looks so happy.

When Fii follows the words with her eyes, wondering what it is, Lynette said what it is, as if she couldn’t resist.

”It’s an invitation to a tea party for Fii-sama!　The Countess of Sarnea has invited Lady Fii to a tea party! I have also secured permission from His Majesty to leave!”

Before Fii could reply, tears appeared in Lynette’s eyes, which had already taken permission to do so.

”With this….with this, I will finally be able to show Fii-sama’s true form to the people of this country. Then, she won’t have to be treated like this anymore, and then eventually….”

Passing the paper carefully to Fii, Fii began to read the letter while looking at Lynette, who folded her hands in front of her chest and stared into the void, muttering with the expression of a dreaming maiden.

(Geez, it’s the third day of a long vacation…)

Fii’s face twitched as she reads the letter and sees the date of the tea party.

But, even though she hadn’t agreed to it yet, it looked like she was all set to receive it in Lynette’s mind. Honestly, it’s too much trouble and she didn’t want to go. There’s also the risk of her identity being exposed….

However, looking at Lynette’s happy expression, it’s not an offer she can refuse.

“Yes! I will bring Fii-sama out in front of you in the best possible way! Stay tuned!”

When Fii reluctantly agreed, Lynette smiled happily.

”Then, I finally got about five days off, so I’ll be able to take care of Fii-sama for three days now.”

“So, Fii-san! I’ll definitely be back!”

With that, Lynette leapt out of the little rear palace with another hurried but buoyant skip.

It was a problem.

However, fortunately, Lynette hadn’t been able to take a break until after the long weekend. Maybe this would give her a reason to make it somehow.

Back at theNorthern Quarters, Fii visited Kooine’s room.

“Kooine!”

“Hai?”

When Fii opened the door with a bang, Kooine, who had been lying in bed, jumped up.

“Oh, sorry. I forgot to knock.”

Fii apologizes for one thing.

“You know what, Kooine? I need to ask you a favor.”

“What is it?”

“Would it be okay if I went to stay at Kooine’s for the long weekend?”

Kooine’s cheeks faded to a bit of vermillion as Fii looked up at him and asked for a favor. Then, he heard the request and turned even redder.

Kooine agreed in a nervous voice.

”Yes. There are still some servants left and it’s fine. Please come!”

His voice is a little muffled with nervousness.

Fii smiles in response.

“Thank you, thank goodness.”

Then, after being approved, she added yet another request.

“And, I have one more request for, Kooine.”
